It’s not very difficult for a native French speaker to pick up Spanish or another latin language. You still need to work at it, but it can fall into place quite quickly
Agreed, I Just left a similar comment under an other video. I was taught french in school in Haiti because of that I was able to learn spanish so quick.
Yup. As a native French speaker, that's how I picked up Spanish in only around 4 months of living in Spain as student.
There is speaking and intonation. A lot French people speak Spanish with a heavy French accent. Mbappe intonation is really good. He also speaks English by the way, I guess you will say everyone speaks English. Can’t we just say the guy has skills?
@Serendipity-lz4xb no, I wasn't knocking Mbappe's language skills at all. English is certainly harder for a French speaker to learn than Spanish. Credit to him. Doesn't change the fact that French to Spanish isn't a massive jump.
True, I speak french quite fluently and I find spanish easy to learn.
Here's the funny thing about this. I heard a story that, Mbappé learned spanish and told his parents that he wanted to learn spanish so that when he's unveiled as a Madrid player, he already spoke perfect Spanish. And now it's inching closer and closer hopefully.

I've spoken Spanish since i was born, And DAMN He's good at it, If you told me he was from Argentina or Catalunya, I wouldn't dare think he's french.

Definitely not Argentinian accent. Did catch glimpses of Spanish from Spain but also not a Spaniard accent. A nice neutral accent which is what you want.
Fun fact, you don’t pronounce the ‘M’ in his name. It is actually pronounced ‘Bappé’. Commentators been saying his name wrong the whole time. He said it himself for those thinking of coming at me.

Why do people think it's such a hard language to pick up. If you speak any latin-based language all the other ones are tremendously easy to learn.

Agree I took French and Spanish in school and chose to learn Spanish because its way easier I love French as to me its the most beautiful language but its so hard to learn

@@Serendipity-lz4xb As someone who's a native English speaker and took Spanish Portuguese and French lessons I can attest Spanish by far is the easiest to learn really because it sounds the way it looks French for me was the hardest there is so much that goes into pronunciations plus it's a very tonal language so he's not lying
