I know people are against it but.. VRChat is actually amazing for practicing languages. There's so many rooms for every language to go talk to actual people from that place and sure some are obnoxious, but honestly many try to help you out. It's also a good way to learn slang, or local dialects for those languages.
@@HollowsDarkness ah I didn’t notice you were focusing on Japanese. Sadly they take a while to expand to new languages. English was just added, so I assume it’ll take them a good bit of time to expand to Japanese (although I did notice they have relationships with a lot of Japanese companies from the research I did-it looks like they’re focused on Japanese to English for now)
Dude! Seriously one of the best reviews I’ve ever watched on YT. Where others give an overview at best, you were obviously very thorough as demonstrated by the flaws you discovered for the various programs. You really put a lot of time into your review. I appreciate the thoughtful pros and cons, and how you gave a summary review of all the programs at the end to help the viewer decide which program might be the best for them. You’re a real pro. Thanks!
I really appreciate those kind words friend. These videos admittedly take time to research, write, and put together 😅 but I said to myself that I want to be proud of any video I make, and I want to share info that can’t be found anywhere else at that level of detail. As long as the community finds these valuable, I’m all in to keep going. Rooting for you in the new year amigo mío 🎉🙏🏽
Great video as always. Super informative and detailed in all the right places. Bit bummed by the monthly subscription models. Make it a one off payment and go from there.
Really glad you enjoyed the video. These comments always make it worth the effort. I hear you on the pricing-I miss the days when everything was a one time payment. But it was a lot more expensive last year and took a cost cut recently. Maybe the price will continue to come down as the technology gets cheaper to run.
I'm waiting for Immerse to expand to a few more languages too---they're a startup, so I bet they're taking time to get the platform down for the current languages before expanding further. English was the latest addition. Glad the video helped out!

VRChat is a solid contender if you find the right group of people to practice with! Great addition :)
But does it allow you to start from the beginning and learn the basics or is there some knowledge already needed?
@@HollowsDarkness VRChat isn’t great for starting from 0, but there are fully beginner classes in Immerse that you could try

This video is sick. I'm getting a VR headset this week and I'm so stoked to try these programs.
Excited for you! I hope the video helps you save some money and get the app that's best for you personally 🙌🏽
Which VR headset will accommodate these apps? Apple, Meta Quest 3, PlayStation VR?
Thanks for your explanation.
Happy you liked it :)
Thanks for creating this little Rotimi. 🙂😘

2-Noun Town now has a desktop app!
And then you got Vrchat it's chaotic but hey ...
Chaotic is the right word 😂
The things i've seen there... No thanks.

You need to buy it separately. I was using the Quest 2 headset for this video
Solid video! Question, does anyone know if they took ImmerseMe out? I hoping to dive into the real life clips, but I only see immerse on the VR store
I’m happy you liked it 🙌🏽 ImmerseMe is accessible via their website (it wasn’t on the VR store last I checked).
11:09 that's the Irish flag Jerry 😂
That’s what I get for editing at 4 in the morning 🤦🏽♂️ That’s a slip on my part 🥲

😂😂 this is the truth
If Immerse had Chinese I'd totally go for that.

And Swahili isn’t on any of them
