Hopefully they take pointers from the arkham/spiderman (insomniac) series and some serious pointers on what NOT TO DO from suicide squad/marvels avengers
If they are going multiplayer they should absolutely take pointers from Avengers. The combat was fantastic, the characters felt unique and the evolving story was a great idea. They should just avoid all the looter stuff and make sure to build the game in Unreal Engine 5

The fact they mentioned a "competitive mode" tells me that this might be more like dragon ball xenoverse, telling new stories within an established universe where you also have dedicated pvp modes against others.
Something similar to parallel quests but in invincible would be a great idea, if they even had good RNG

I would love a super hero game with a destructable environment especially for Invincible, that way you can do the same destructive things.They do in the show, this is probably way to much to ask but an idea that I think deserves to be preserved for the future.

I wanna create and customize my own character using designs and features inspired by all the characters in the comic books with a huge city to explore (GTA Online Style) with missions and raids i can go on by myself or teaming up with other players or canon characters
I think the potential of it being live service in itself isn't a bad thing - it can be executed well (minecraft,fortnite or Helldivers 2) however they need to be very careful, and Game As A Service could be good too

They are trying to make this game a piece of every pie out there right now, And that never works out. They said it's going to be a story game AND competitive AND it's going to be like destiny with how much dlc it has. I doubt its because they have a vision that requires it. They are literally trying to edge the perfect spot for the news. Using all the buzz words to get people excited. I doubt its going to have a good story AND be a well though out competitive game. I have very little hope that this game is going to be more than a overwatch clone Tbh. I doubt they are going to invent a new gameplay loop, even though that would be the only the only reasonable way to do invincible right. How do y'all see this ending?

1:32 Skybound has *not* raised $18 million for the game. The campaign page is written pretty deceptively, but if you scroll to the Funding section you can find a link to what the $18 million is actually referring to. It was another investment campaign on Republic from about a year ago, it has no mention of the Invincible game, it is completely unrelated.
It should also be noted that:
1. You are not investing in the game, you are investing in Skybound. They promise they're gonna spend 65% of the campaign's profits on the game's development and 25% on the game's marketing, but there's nothing holding them to that.
2. You don't get anything in return unless Skybound sells equity to a third party, and even then they get to decide whether to convert your "Crowd SAFE" into equity or not.
Idk where you’ve done your research but my uncle invested a little bit of money into skybound, and they sent him a custom hand drawn poster in black and white of all sorts of Skybound characters on it, and they send him monthly updates on comics/Invincible Amazon series / and anything else related to them, don’t be hatin on sky bound
So it will be only multiplayer/competitive or there will be a solo story mode like god of war ect ?
This is the perfect game it’s not a Superman game but a game where u can progress strength wise and it can make sense they have material long as there isn’t any annoying side missions and stories and be able to play as every character and do their story
Also, I know there’s practically nothing close to a shot in hell of this ever happening, but how cool would it be if we can get Todd McFarlane on the phone, make a deal with him and have spawn as either a character or just have him design some skins. I mean spawn is a pretty big name that a lot of people like. Both parties can make some money out of this😅
Imagine a dlc with “multiverse” characters. Spawn, agent spider and then a few alternate versions of already known characters
For a invincible game I wouldn’t mind a game where you make your own hero and such and work along side some of the known character do something like Xenoverse where they have missions the players do
Possible even have it where we are doing right at the start of the season 1 or even before

I wouldn't mind a "Marvel Ultimate Alliance"-esque Invincible game. Just dropping in and out with whichever of the characters you want, maybe locked to certain ones for certain story missions. Thats what the gaming scene has been void of for a decade it feels. We NEED more licensed co-op games!

if there is a multiplayer invincible game coming. No pvp would be a crime, but no one sided pvp vs a new player and an old player would be a tragedy.

I don't know how to feel about a game coming out for this now I feel like it could add fatigue to the franchise if it's not good and I dont think it would be maybe if they did it in the far future and did it like dragon ball z kakarot but more advanced it would work when the series is finished
I think that they could make multiple dlcs in the game. Sounds smart to drop some new content as soon as the series go on, telling the stories, i think. Way better to work on a good engine first then adapt, than making a "new" game that is the same thing 50 times, like naruto ultimate storm series.

A dc universe online project is way better. Since new heros are always coming out of no where in the comics, it would make a lot of sense for a online rpg with character customization. While fighting along side with your favorite invincible characters. And being a viltrumite could be a class you can unlock

I would play that. I really want a game similar to the Insomniac Spider-Man games, but a Telltale game would be cool, too. I wish the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the 13th games were like the Telltale games instead of Dead By Daylight. Speaking of Dead By Daylight, I can't wait to play the game The Casting of Frank Stone made by Supermassive Games. I love the interactive narrative games that they make, too.

Is the Invincible stuff in the background the game in question? It straight up looks like the mobile game with a slight more of a budget. Which I guess would make sense if they’re related from the amount of money people seem to spend on that game.
The B-Roll is for the mobile game, and those are just the cutscenes, which would be AAA quality easily if that's how the gameplay looked. That's how Dragon Ball Sparking Zero looks.

@@kingol4801 lmao anyway. Look how invincible is set up. If you do an adventure video game you'd need at the very least 4 seasons. Or you could adapt the comic book. They aren't gonna get enough money to do a proper open world multiplayer game (which is what I want). The safest bet is to Make a competitive fight again. It's the safest bet. Tons of ppl love fighting games especially if they're done right. If you can build tournaments around it then it'll last forever. It's very rare to have someone call fighting games trash. You must be really bad at them. That's not a dig. Even ppl who aren't good at them like them. Plus have you seen all the walking Dead adventure games. Even the app ones. They're f****** horrible. I don't count the telltale games, but those aren't adventure. There's enough characters to have a decent fighting roster. You can have DLC characters. You could have different costumes and skins. They need a safe win so they can take they're time on the adventure game we deserve. Plus if it's an open world adventure game you're going to struggle with the different character traversal types. Cuz I don't want a game where I just play as invincible. I got like 10 characters I want to use
