Thanks mate. I don’t really need efficiency with the wheeling I’m doing. Trailered car ect it’s set up really well with the fuel pump it’s running :)

If you ever have a coolant issue such as radiator issue or burst coolant/heater hose. Water boils at 100 deg C. Most coolant systems run at 120 deg C so to stop the water boiling it is pressurised, that is why you have a radiator cap with a pressure rating. It works like a pressure cooker. If you have a leak such as leaky radiator or blown radiator hose. Let the system cool down, add water to fill the system up. When you tighten your radiator cap up you will notice that as you do it up it will sort of click, reaching a point where it will not be tight but will not come off. Normally you would then continue to tighten it fully so the system will work pressurised. This is no good if you have a leak as a pressurised system will blow all your coolant out under pressure and stuff your engine from being cooked. Do your radiator cap up till it clicks but not all the way so the system does not pressurise. Turn your heater on to help keep temps down. you can save an engine by doing this and drive miles and miles. Your temp gauge will still work as you still have water in the system and can add water as needed. The temp gauge will go up as you get short of water so you know you need to add more. If you need to add water to a hot engine, either let it cool down completely or if you really have to... pour water into the radiator SLOWLY with the engine running so as not to warp or crack the block or head.
