- Unboxing Box 2 (Earth Kingdom) Of Avatar The Last Aibender ATLA. I was made aware of this box because of TikTok but I wonder if the items inside are actually worth the value of the box. Let's unbox and review.

I love the last airbender so much that i named my dog after the flying lemur bat Momo. And my favorite character is Toph because not only shes so inspiring cause shes blind and can fight like a boss but shes not scare to express herself and always ready to take anyone on despite her being a princess. I'll geek out with you Jackie
Edit: I'll be 24 on the 18th and stated watching when I was 8 and re watched the whole aeries when I was 22 and because my niece has never seen it I am with her right now rewatching the whole series for a 3rd time

Appa is not out of place!!!! It was in Ba-Sing-Se that Appa gets separated from the group. XD so he was the loved character at that point. Lol wonder who your favorite character is because I feel its Aang or Boomy.
I think the reason why some stuff that isn't exactly "earth kingdom-esque" are included like Appa and the fire nation notepad is because they focused more on what happened in the Earth part(second season) of the show where Appa's arc was and where Azula, Mai, and Tai Lee were formed and introduced. ❤

I just looked at the site and said it was themed: book two earth.
That's exactly what I thought as soon as she brought up Appa seeming out of place!! It definitely has to do with the plot of the season and not so much the location.

To clarify on some things about the Avatar: The Last Airbender Box, the first three boxes in the collection are inspired by the specific Books/Seasons of Avatar! The first one was based on Book One: Water, the box in this video was the Book Two: Earth box, and the next box releasing in August is based on Book Three: Fire! After the Book Three: Fire box releases the Avatar Box will continue with new and unique themes each quarter! We can't give away details on future boxes yet but we CAN say we got great surprises for future Avatar boxes 😏

Kept wondering why Jackie was explaining all the characters and details but I suppose have to face the facts and that there are people out there who don't know Avatar XD Absolutely loved this show growing up!
They're themed for the arcs (ie: this is for the second season, Book 2: Earth), not the nations but this is still pretty neat. So the next box will have stuff themed around Book 3.
Baby Appa is not really out of place in this as the season "Book Earth" includes the well beloved episode "Tales from Ba Sing Se", that features Baby Appa, when the full grown Appa remembers meeting Aang for the first time.
Crazy how they’re bringing this show back after all these years for the new people who have never seen it. Loved this show growing up and still love it ❤️
My son loved this show when he was younger. I used to watch with him when I wasnt chasing his babysister around (I had them 7½ years apart). I might have to rewatch it now that they dont live at home (my son is 25 and my daughter 18, she studies far from home and is only home every other weekend).
You're right, I watched this show as an adult, and I LOVED it! The story, the characters, even the minor ones, wow!
I think that this box is based on the season when Ba-sing-se is secretly occupied by the Fire Nation with Azula and her friends.

I love culture fly their boxes are amazing. I'm a huge nick fan, especially the old school shows and a big big supernatural fan and they have boxes for everyone. The quality is amazing and you get branded items and unique items as well.

I was vending at a con a couple months ago and there was a free tea booth that had an uncle Iroh cosplayer running it. You could just go and sit and relax and have tea and listen to calming music. I left my husband to take care of the booth so much that con lol.
My daughter is now 8 years old,her name is "Katara",I love Avatar definitely my fav cartoon. Can't wait to see this unboxing,made my day being home with an unwell baby and seen this.THANKYOU JACKIE (for being you!).

I get several of Culture Fly's subscription boxes (Pusheen, My Hero Academia, Naruto Shippuden, and Star Wars) and am always thrilled with the quality and selection of the items in the boxes. You may want to look into the MHA box.
That tumbler was an image inside plastic walls. You can buy another Tumbler without a scratch & just transfer the image into that one
I absolutely love Avatar, the world building, the creatures I just love it. I even have an Appa tattoo and I asked my partner when he proposes if he can ask "will you do the thing for the rest of our lives?" and he did :)

I was waiting for this subscription box since they first announced it. Always been a HUGE Avatar fan (even have some tattoos). Biggest letdown when their “international” shipping only meant USA and Canada… Guess the rest of the countries must be considered “extra planetary shipping” or something. I’ve been asking them if they could expand the list of countries they ship to. But their answer was a blunt nope… Glad you can get it though. Enjoy the items on behalf of us aliens 👽
You can try a service like shipping cart :D it's now I get my international deliveries reliably to my planet lol

It might be because they only have the license to sell the merchandise in the US and Canada.
Or it could be that shipping prices have gone through the roof, especially to international destinations.
I found this show while searching for something to binge watch back in 2020. I fell in love with it instantly, and was so disappointed when I got to the end. Now I might go re-watch the whole thing since I'm down with the sickness. (66 year old great grandma)
There's also another series if you wanna binge watch it again. It's called the Legend of Korra, which is the next generation of Avatar!

I have watched Anng the last Airbender and the Legend of Korra more so many times over and I still see things I don't before so yes do it!!

Maybe the boxes are based off of what happens in each parts of the show, because Appa's arc and Team Azula happened during the Earth part
It isn't just things pertaining to the Earth Kingdom. It is things pertaining to the Earth Kingdom story arc, in which Appa being kidnapped was a big element and the Kingdom being overthrown by Azula's team from the Fire Nation was the ultimate plot.

I used to watch that show when I was a teenager & still loved it, also my type of subscription box theme would definitely be my favorite anime Black Butler, it rocks 😻🤘🏻🥰
I'm sure someone else has said this, but Appa makes sense in the box since the Earth Kingdom is where Appa is kidnapped and the reason why the Gaang goes to Bas Sing Se
I didn't get into it until like eight or so years ago but man what a life changing experience that was. Since then I bought the book The Search and got three signatures in it, from the Sifus and Dante Basco. All three amazing experiences meeting them :)
My favorite boy is Zuko (I also love Uncle Iroh) but my absolute favorite character has to be Toph❤️, what is everybody's?

describing boomi in the metal coffin as him covering himself in dirt means jackie lost some detail of the show, which happens. It also seems like this box is going by storyline and not nation themes except maybe the air box, which would probably be ang themed

One of my favorite shows!😁 I just got this awesome ATLA keychain off Etsy! It's one of those milk carton keychains with the cool looking liquid. Has all the team Avatar characters on it including Appa and Momo. It also has cactus juice printed on it with cacti...😁

Appa gets lost and found in the Earth kingdom (Tales of Basing-se). Azula tried to drill through the wall and eventually set up a puppet Dai-li.
Toph is my favorite character. Look up forgetting toph is blind on RUclips and the compilation is hilarious

It’s Sam-on for salmon. The L is typically not pronounced but you will find a few who pronounce it but usually the L is ignored. I noticed when you were talking about the color of the pages in the Azulas Journal or whatever it was. Just thought I’d let you know since I know English isn’t your first language.

Why do you do this to me 😂 I have a soft spot for subscription boxes - I get two different ones for my dogs, one for my rabbits, one for witchy related stuff and…I think that’s it. At the moment.
Does your dog think all the bixes are for him/ her? I had to cancel my dog's box but I still get a book box. Each month she gets excited as I open the box and I can hear her thinking, "This Barkbox has really gone downhill." I still buy her stuffed toys and treats, but maybe I should put them in a box,lol

I actually had to stop for a moment while you explained ATLA, I thought, "it's not that old, everyone knows it!" before it hit me. I was in high school when it aired. I was still on LJ when it aired. The makers had myspace like all the cool TV creators back in the day. It IS old.Time to rewatch.

The Boxes are themed for each season of the show not necessarily for each Element, Box 1 Water has themes from Book 1, Just like Box 2 Earth has elements of themes from Book 2
I LOVE that series and have the whole thing on DVD when it first came out. the whole family rewatches it every other year or so.
I do have to say, that while not a fan of the show but someone that watched the movie and loved it, I am in love with this merch. I have seen other sub boxes for more other shows and movies not have this quite and cost way more than this.
My toddler has a build a bear named Korra... and avatar shirts... and my service dogs forward momentum command is yip yip... but I collect nightmare before Christmas and Hercules stuff...
It is worth the money and I hope you get your tee shirt. I loved this cartoon and I think my son was the only kid who watched it with me.

I never had a subscribtion box, but as I was a kid I had one for a magazine. I think my grandma ordered 2 test-packages where you ger 1 toy and 3 magazines and than asked me based on the magazine wich I would like more and than she got me a 2 year subscribtion. I think It was Geolino and National Geographics Kids who are both science/geographic/biology magazines for children. I chose National Geographics cause the pictures where more interesting altho I think Geolino had small surprises in each magazine

I watched it on a whim a little while ago. I'm in my mid 30s and assumed it would be too childish for me but I gave it a go and ended up really loving it.
I love Avatar! That box is definitely worth the price of the subscription. They have so many different themed subscriptions. My husband gets the DC comics one although we are having a tough time receiving the one for the first quarter and we are way past the first quarter of the year
This is definitely going on my list of things for my son's bday.
back when I could afford them I had a book and tea subscription from a local tea store. they'd send me a book and two flavours of tea every month

Have you watched nostalgia critics review on the live action avatar? I feel like you would enjoy it. It’s an old video but it always makes me laugh. I’m not super into the avatar series but I appreciate the artwork and storytelling.

That is a good deal considering if you brought the Appa or the T shirt at hot topic or box lunch one of them would probably cost the price of the whole box.
