    I also was initially impressed with sound and engine character.
    2000 kms later, I realise the notchy gearbox and low gearing ratio. The bike peaks out at 80 kmph, after that it is all vibrations upto 160

      Gearbox isn’t notchy compared to the GS 310 at least .. but the gearing is short I agree .. which gives it such a good roll on acceleration almost in any gear .. depends on what is your riding preference.

    Ordered mine 2 days ago and I'm impatiently waiting for it to arrive. Meanwhile I'm just watching videos about the Scrambler for fun, and yours was quite enjoyable. It's really nice to see someone cruise on the bike on the same roads that I've been taking for years now. You definitely need to upgrade your mic though but good job nonetheless!

    Been using scrambler and recently did 2000 km tour. Take it to winding roads like i did in the kolli hills. Trust me. It is going to put a smile on your face.

    I took a test ride of 400X and impressed a lot, I too got the feeling of selling my GS to get a Triumph.

      Both are good versatile motorcycles not poles apart ! People have different reasons for a change .. as long as you find yours it’s ok 👍

    Lovely review. Recently saw your videos and you earned a subscriber ! I just have this doubt , I am 5’11 .. 115 kg. The bike is too puny for me , loved the bike though . I had adv 390 x ktm in my mind all these while but after taking scram 400 I changed cos of the ktms pathetic low end torque . Just worried if the bike won’t suit my body . Can you tell me your suggestion if I can go for 390x or scram 400 or should I wait for tiger 400 or 2025 ktm Adv 390 . Need to take a decision soon .. TIA

      Thanks ! The scram won’t feel puny even for your frame once you are seated I feel. It’s heavier than the ADV 390 actually but if long distance touring is your criteria the ADV may feel more spacious! Not sure of the date of ‘25 ADV version release and your urgency. Neither the TIGER 400 is confirmed

    I believe the scrambler is not the right choice for triumph. they should hv made the tiger 400!

      They may have plans .. you never know 🙂 but it will have advanced hardware and will be expensive .. like the baby GS! May be we will have a baby Tiger one day🤞

      Both are different bikes buddy. Scrambler is more of an everything bike with an emotional attachment. Where the tiger is a serious tourer. I would also prefer tiger 400 over scrambler 400 because it is my personal requirement. But triumph really made the scrambler 400 an awesome bike

    Which is best to travel with pillion

    • @arindwanderer
      @arindwanderer  2 месяца назад

      GS has a more comfortable seat for pillion but then the scrambler isn’t bad. Scrambler has more torque which will help you with a pillion in hilly areas

    Hey bro your videos are knowledgeable and enjoyable but please do upgrade your microphone its too noisy and couldn't able to hear some of the contents you spoke. Other than that its a nice video.

    Is the seat comfortable? And do you miss the centre stand?

    • @arindwanderer
      @arindwanderer  4 месяца назад +1

      It’s comfortable enough and I come from the GS which is super comfortable .. also neither my GS had center stand and it’s not a good idea in an off-road motorcycle .. you can a paddock stand for chain lubing etc.

      India is diversified with culture , langauge and tastes, for your kind attention. Hindi is not national language, there are people who doesn't know Hindi. So it's not about "sharam aati hai", it's all about his targeted audience matters.
      Thank you
