This was so accurate for my situation!! As a department head in a successful, busy company, after 4+ years in this position, I had completely burnt out. This affected me to the point that I resigned from my position, put in my notice to quit, and left once I filled my 2 week notice. I then moved out of state and entered a completely different profession. I started in a great position in a job I'd never had any experience in. All in all, it ended up being a good move but going thru the burnout was terrible. I wouldn't recommend going this route to get to a better place. It truly affected my health. If I could do it all again, I'd definitely do it different. Listen to your gut, listen to your body. Save yourself from the effects the video mentioned. ✌
I’m experiencing burnout every day right now but I find myself getting through it every day as well. I spend time with family and watch positive videos before sleeping. “Every day is a new day”. I take every Sunday to reflect on the accomplishments and move on that Monday.
Thank you Alux for making this video! It helped me to confirm what I've been speculating for months and that is I'm burnt out. This burnout has turned me into someone I don't recognize, I lost my job and one of my closes friends walked out of my life last month. I'm crying about random things, I'm always tired, I feel alone, and I'm angrier than I think I ever have been. I'm isolating myself from my loved ones because I'm afraid of them giving up on me too. I need help but I don't know how to ask for it anymore. I'm not sure where to start and to add insult to injury I have Multiple Sclerosis, which the burnout is starting to affect my illness. I'm more than willing to take any suggestions from the Alux community because I can't keep living like this. --Much love to all
This video definitely resonates with me. I feel quite a bit of burnout at this moment. I definitely feel like I am no where close to achieving my goals. I have a lot of work to do.
I have experienced it multiple times.... I still identify with 13/15 signs on the list.. even before Covid... I focus on finding an anchor in the distance a long term goal to keep me going. That and I still don't have the option of stopping . I'm only 22
All it takes is COMPASSION, EMPATHY, EMOTION, CONCERN, AND LOVE FOR YOURSELF AND EACH OTHER. Everyone is always trying to be better, the best, the richest, the most popular or most powerful. Emotions are fading and humans are becoming insensitive and about self. Help each other.
Basically my situation since the end of 2019. Back then, school started becoming hard and my mental health started to decrease. Forced quarantine in March 2020 made my situation even worse, especially since there was nothing to do. I didn't have much of an interest in school. As school was optional, the only class I completed was Driver's Education, as that class started the week before the school shut down (spring break), and for my other classes, I only did a few assignments for my philosophy class, 1 project for my English class, and lessons in my math class. The next year, when I started school, it was still online, though most of my classes were easy. The only class that was hard was Student Government, as there wasn't much I was able to do. Unfortunately, my parents had me continue doing online school for the entire year, which was not a good thing for me.
Everyone wants to be successful. But let's make sure not to overdo ut, take a walk, see friends, watch a movie. Taking rests when you are tired allows you to do it long term, even if there are some short term consequences
I haven't watched a video so intently in a good few months now. @Alux, you hit all the points and confirmed what I'm experiencing. Now, how do I not lose all I've worked for and overcome this monster?
I've been in the same restaurant for 18 years with no real breaks and I just feel ALL of the points in the video, all of them, I feel so disconnected from everyone and everything, I'm tired all the times, I'm becoming so negative and unorganized, I just don't see the light (if there's any) and I'm bonded to my job because I live alone and completely depend on it to help my mom, feed my cat, my dog and myself and because rent it's so expensive.... I don't have dreams anymore, I'm just living in autopilot
It's this high set of expectations that leads us to burn everyone out including ourselves. Thinking that others don't make mistakes, their works are great 100% of the time, them getting ahead, being superhuman and knows-it-all. We want to be like this superhuman because we think when/if we get to their stage, we'd be valued or happy. We always think "when I get there..." but the truth is, there are good days, and there are bad days.
Hustle and grind all day mentality which is all over Social media is fine but not sustainable. I learned that the hard way. I work smarter and say no to a lot of stuff that isn't aligned with my end goals. I'm more successful, healthier and happy without guilt and resentment.
I'm a 43 yo single father of a 3 yo boy work 3rd shift overnight and have a lawn service and mow during the day . I run on coffee and marijuana need more food water and rest but things are starting to click so I'm going all out !!
Wow I have a 3yo too, I can't imagine how it is being a single father PLUS all your other commitments!!!Look after yourself, invest your money and try to become financially free ASAP so you can enjoy life
Great video here! We all want to become as successful as possible when we level up, but using performance enhancing drugs or cutting your sleep hours won’t do the trick!
My experience with burnout occurred about nine years ago. The symptoms happened over a period of time. I realized that work was becoming stressful as the company was undergoing some changes. Also, the manager at work was becoming more difficult to work with and she was constantly finding fault with my work. I stopped going out with friends and lost interest in anything that was important to me. I got from work at night and didn't eat. I wanted to do nothing but sleep. This was a case of classic burnout.
*The best thing to be on every wise individual's mind or list is to invest in different streams of income that is not depended on the government to generate funds*
How I discovered that burnout afflicted me: years ago, I lay in bed with chest pressure and increasing shortness of breath. A practicing physician then, I did an ECG on myself and it showed a probable heart attack. Uninsured, I lay peacefully hoping my symptoms would get better. They didn't. I thought carefully whether to call for help from my estranged wife or die. I called and she took me to the hospital. While there, I explained the household money situation and told her the combination to the safe. I saw no evidence of concern from her. While being put in the helicopter to get rushed for surgery (successful!), I heard her tell our daughter that it was like the helicopter ride she had before our children were born. While in the helicopter and thereafter, I was happily surprised by the concern everyone showed me. The contrast between her uncaring attitude and the compassion everyone on the medical team showed me indicated that I had been trying to do the impossible and that I had achieved near-fatal burnout.
Usually, I don't recognize burnout until my staff tells me bluntly that it is time for me to go on a very long training (ride, run, swim). That is often followed by the recommendation that it is time for a vacation. This year I caught it early and scheduled a trip before they said something. They were shocked and appreciative. It happens about every 3 years for me.
I was working for 7 years in a human services office. I worked with the poorest of the poor. I gave so much to help my clients . I kept working and was exhausted after Tuesday. I had imaginary shoulder pains. I kept working because I didn’t have time to look for work. I was also had self doubt and my self esteem crashed. Later after I left my position I found out my previous employer was not paying me properly. They paid me $15,000 a year less than an average position in this field.
I think I'm currently experiencing burnout from being one of the first in my team to come back to work from furlough, and just having sooo many changes and less than supportive upper heads to make things easier! I'm looking forward to my little mini vacay next week but also considering taking a leave of absence just to gather myself because I don't imagine going into Q4 feeling like this would be good for anyone involved!
I am recovering from a burnout right now. It started due to an overload of work + the pandemic. The turning point for me was learning to say no with discipline. The book "Essentialism" by Greg McKeown helped me quite a bit.
Great video Alux! This isn’t takes about a lot and it should be because we’ve all experienced it at least once. When you have a stressful job that is just dealing with problems and egos burnout occurs quickly.
Yes, I feel the burnout because I don't find anything interesting now-a-days. Even, if I try to watch or do something new I feel really lazy. I'm not stressed and also having good life but I feel like very much stagnant.
This video was an eye-opender for me. I just thought I was sleeping bad or in a bad bed. Now after looking at this I can see it is Burnout. time to get help thank.
Recently I've been feeling burnt out. it's affected me, my family and work. So I took a step back and analyzed what was making me feel this way and if I could eliminate something so I did and now I feel so much better!
IMO most of us feel 1 or a few of these just because of ups and downs of life and I just power through it. I don’t have time for “burning out” I have bills to pay and things to accomplish. We all handle it differently.

Pleasant day. Pushing forward and people keep warning about this. Don't stress deal with things as they come. Will pay keen attention to these keys provided, thank you.
This video motivated me to ask for long (though unpaid) vacation. The opportunity cost is very high so it's not an easy decission. But I hope it would be money well "spend".
I've been feeling about 87% of those symptoms. Is so stressful running a business by myself. But I can't trust anyone else running the most important jobs on the business. I do have 12 employees. But I take care of all the paperwork, legal work, Financials, schedules, etc. An the list goes on and on. 🤯🥵🤧😖🥱🤒🤕
A good sign your headed for a BURNOUT? You just bought 2 used sets of tires along with your new set of tires. Ok in all seriousness i hope everyone has a great day!
I'm feeling being burnt out now I'm working two full time jobs to get a car I'm trying to keep it together and not do anything dumb but it seems like I can't pull through this bad enough I have no friends
Council be careful who you go to. Maybe a trusted friend or stranger can be better than a so called professional. Many so called trained professionals know that if you resolve your issues, you will not return and NO $$$ for them; thus purposely give advice that creates more relationship problems so you will keep returning. Above all be honest about your situation when seeking help, and if what you say about situation is denied by so called professional ask why they deny you; if not a reasonable answer and you told truth leave. No everyone doesn’t lie to self, being worse thing can do to your self, is lie to self. If you don’t know answer / reason for situation don’t fill in blanks with a guess unless absolutely necessary to proceed otherwise put a decision on hold till you have identified all involved issues and their factual details to then be able to make a logical decision. Remember when you guessed, know will need to correct guess.
alux should have made smartphone apps in such a way that there won't be any need of laptops and desktops then all could work anywhere, anytime in any pose

It’s not easy. I have a team to lead and I only give it two more weeks if our crazy schedules then we can all begin taking a little break.
It’s not a phenomenon. Human beings aren’t robots we have a limit.
And that’s why big tech is the irking on robots to replace us.
good thing im a god- i have no limits

I think everyone who went back to work after the pandemic in the service industry went through burnouts.
How? You had a year off
Everyone wants to be successful. But let's make sure not to overdo ut, take a walk, see friends, watch a movie. Taking rests when you are tired allows you to do it long term, even if there are some short term consequences
Probably not friends but everything else you got it lol
I haven't watched a video so intently in a good few months now. @Alux, you hit all the points and confirmed what I'm experiencing. Now, how do I not lose all I've worked for and overcome this monster?
As a doctor in this pandemic.
I can totally relate but nothing we still have to hold on a little more till this pandemic ends 😓
By these standards, I've been burnt out for years
I am 82 year old women, still cook three meals a day for my 92 year old husband, marketing, cleaning, paperwork. I am exhausted!

I'm so tired of the stock market being manipulated by the FED that's why I have decided to start up another investment
Start up another investment in sliver, crypto, and gold they are very profitable right now
Yeah I think crypto is more better than those other
@@ThomasJamesPropertyInvestiing I agree with you sir
Citizens to invest in crypto now it have gone down a little because when it raises back you will kick your ass in regret for not investing
It will be a lucrative move to take advantage of Bitcoin now because it will be very profitable over time
I am recovering from a burnout right now. It started due to an overload of work + the pandemic. The turning point for me was learning to say no with discipline. The book "Essentialism" by Greg McKeown helped me quite a bit.
This is not the best time for anyone to be left out when going for digital assets
The market is so full of many opportunities but the problem is recognizing them.
Stocks are good but crypto is better and more profitable
I wanted to trade Crypto but got confused by the fluctuations in price
I heard that he's strategies are really good!
Yeah my first investment with Mr James Lawson Bryan earned me profit of over $25,530 US dollars ever since then he has been delivering
Great video Alux! This isn’t takes about a lot and it should be because we’ve all experienced it at least once. When you have a stressful job that is just dealing with problems and egos burnout occurs quickly.

Great, never have I related to a video so much before. This was helpful
A wake-up call we all need.
I wish u made this video in 2019 when I left my job due to burnout...
I'm not burned out but literally got roasted. I changed priorities, beginning with health. I went on to eliminate many useless thoughts that was ruining my life. I focused on one thing and stay motivated to keep progressing on that one thing. Yoga and meditation or any physical exercise are as essential as good sleep. Change to healthy diet. Avoid non veg as far as possible. Things begin to change for better.
“If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I'd spend six sharpening my axe.” - Abraham Lincoln. Thank you for the video Alux 🙏🏽
Only need like 10 mins max to sharpen it. This Lincoln guy sounds dim
I think I'm burnt out, but not drained burnt out, just bored burnt out. We had less work coming in, so more time to relax, got bored and still bored and can't be bothered getting back into work and my previous standards. Looking to change jobs now
Pleasant day.
I hope you’ll feel better after the vacation!
Imagine that's what i experience my entire life with ADHD :)
I am wondering what the author of this video looks like ? We never see her but thx for videos!!
It’s hard for someone in the military to get help when going through a burnout.
I agree! I'm a young enlisted
Great video, i wonder who the contributing writer is.
I've been feeling about 87% of those symptoms. Is so stressful running a business by myself. But I can't trust anyone else running the most important jobs on the business.
I do have 12 employees. But I take care of all the paperwork, legal work, Financials, schedules, etc. An the list goes on and on.

I purchased the services of a coach when I felt burnt out and it worked because I gained a support system
This video was required. Thank you Alux!

I now know I am having a third-degree burnout. Thanks
I find it ironic Alux wud post this video today!! What a concidence!...Thank You Alux
To enjoy a comfortable future, investing is absolutely essential for everyone
The Corona virus 😷 demonstrated a seemingly stable economy can be quickly turned on its head, leaving those who haven’t prepared scrambling for income
Folks are investing in crypto now as it's favorable for a buy now
For real, crypto is profitable...
One idea is to have a mix of safer investments and riskier, higher-return ones.
It's hard to trade the business of cryptocurrencies without a manager or professional
i am so burnout and feel lonely at the same time.
You and me both
Covid by itself is a burnout for a lot of people 😢🤦🏽♂️
Thanks for this one.
Forget working... I realized I’ve been burning out studying too... what the heck

BURNOUT is from uknown of what to do next, and feeling of being stuck
You could always make a video that covers the solutions
Amazing video 🙌🏻🔥
Yup, I was in denial, but I have burnout

Crap, number 2 hit me hard!
I love her voice very much
How long can a burnout last?
alux should have made smartphone apps in such a way that there won't be any need of laptops and desktops then all could work anywhere, anytime in any pose
