This has to be a hoonigan first.... I mean what's the biggest breakdown and repair on one of these shoots. These guys no shit just swapped out a engine to keep shredding
The Andersons have always been a long time favorite of my family. My 5 year old has his Grave Digger ride on he rips around everyday after school outback. This will be the highlight of his day when he gets home from school and watch this episode with me.
Much later response but hope your son enjoyed it. Son of a Digger is a dope truck for the next generation to look up to especially with Ryan behind the wheel
This is the SICKEST episode I've ever seen of Build Breakdown props to Ryan for sending it so hard he left a motor in the grave and another on the way in the lot.
@Andrew, believe it or not. During a show if it needs to happen they can change a motor in 30 minutes or less. And they can change a transmission in 30 minutes or less
I remember watching the tech talk about this monster truck. I was amazed just how many things were engineered in order to drive them so hard. And it weighs over 5 frickin tons!
Hert has a natural ability to break his and other people's "basic" cars, he doesn't want to be responsible for breaking a 1/4 million dollar or more vehicle and the sheer size of it would end up hurting others along the way. I applaud his restraint, Zach on the other hand lol.
Loved this episode. Insane what he can do in such tiny space. Next you should have him bring King Sling into the yard for a build breakdown - last years record breaking jump was amazing!! Also would love to see Tim Cameron (Rock Bouncer driver) on the show. Hes always sporting a Hoonigan sticker on his helmet.
Grave digger was my childhood favorite. I’ll never forget all the monster jams I went to in Orlando. So glad the legacy is living on and with so much progress of the sport.
One of the best videos I've seen on this channel, it had everything: technical stuff, great laughs, smoke, jumps, fire, blow-ups and a V8 sound that put a smile on my face!
Seeing the Hoonigan team be just a giddy as me seeing these beasts makes me smile. Also… when he said “yeah, we’ll just swap it out right here…” I genuinely thought he was joking. Mad props
Grave diggers always been my favorite monster truck and something about hearing that rumble that comes from the engine that just sends chills up your spine
Love watchin Ryan. Grew up watching his dad drive and grave digger is to this day still my favorite. But damn can Ryan drive when he's behind the wheel.
I have to say Ryan Anderson is probably the most coordinated and skilled monster jam driver there is today. Adam is damn good too, filling some pretty big shoes their Dad left for them to wear.
Said it last Ryan Anderson hoonigan video and I’ll say it again. Ryan is the coolest, most respectable and just awesome guy on Monster Jam and arguably the best driver (in my humble opinion). Love the guy and wanna see so much more of him
@17:55 it looks like your FPV guy got UNDER the truck! Am I wrong or do you have to slap your editor for not including that shot? Good job finally getting an FPV pilot by the way, your content in particular really lends itself to the platform
these guys take wayyyyyy too long with everything, for a team of "car enthusiasts" I saw a driver and two guys at formua drift rebuild an 850hp motor in 1 hour.
@@THESLlCK They're enthusiasts with 10 projects at a time, busy jobs which they often travel for, and families at home.. they're not professionals with sponsorships on a race team providing them with every expensive part they need. Did you rebuild that motor in 1 hour? No? Why not? Oh right, because you're just an average enthusiast... like the rest of us.
I'm nearly 40 and was roughly 6 years old when I was able to go to my first monster truck show. My father took my Polaroid picture of me sitting on Grave Diggers' tire. Nicest people too. This video really brought back memories
There was just so much epic footage in this clip, from the nose stand, to the "oh hey let's just do a motor swap" , to the donuts, so much amazing eye candy. Wowzers!!! Thank you Ryan Anderson and the Hoonigans!!!!!!
Grave digger was always my favorite monster truck as a kid, son of a digger definitely kicked it up a notch or two. That was insane 🤣. Bad a$$ runs in the family. This video alone is making my old butt wanting to watch some monster jam lol
I got all sad for a minute when the engine blew up… then he just whips out another one and changes it on the spot. I was literally cheering out loud hahah. Awesome. Just awesome.
It's fitting that Ryan has the Hoonigan logo on his monster truck because goddamn, this dude is like the epitomy of Hoonigan and ain't care. Who else would send it, throw a rod through the block, swap engines, and go straight back to sending it? Dude is a madman and I pray to the car gods that I can one day see him at Monster Jam and get his autograph.
The greatest day the entirety of Hoonigan has likely ever had at the new shop and nothing will top it…Just insane, I don’t know where the new place is or about any part of California but Compton must’ve been FRIGHTENED hearing and seeing that thing roaring around. And what a SHOW for everyone there to see them do a damn monster truck engine swap right in the middle of Slayers hunting grounds…Just wow man….

@@THESLlCK you know u want it , you know you want it from them 😈
what a huge partnership this is dope !
Ryan Anderson is definitely on brand with Hoonigan. He's a show man like his Dad.
His brother is a beast too.
@@kristinewilson5353 the one that drives King Sling? Krysten can drive too.
His dad would have brought that whole yard down lol Dennis doesn’t give a fuck
I was bout to say that he really does carry his dads legacy that new digger is def more gnar than the og
@@kirk0respite nah the real grave digger is to valuable to risk in the yard remember the og grave digger is the most famous monster truck forsure

Hell yeah!
I remember when I was that 3 year old ripping around in the grave digger
THat's awesome
@@braxtonsamuels5177 You probably more than likely had the power wheels branded one I had the big foot even though I wanted the grave digger much more

I will never get tired of seeing Ryan, one of my favorite people you have had on the show over the years!
This is the SICKEST episode I've ever seen of Build Breakdown props to Ryan for sending it so hard he left a motor in the grave and another on the way in the lot.
Sickest episode drops tomorrow when Rob devastates the Hoonicorn.
The sickest they will ever have!!😆
This thing dominates!!
absolutely amazing driver. 2 hour engine swap? wtf? professionals 100%
That's the level of pro I want to be in my career. Silent, fast, and effective.
i swear the first mid-rip engine swap ever. insance
They do it pretty much every other weekend. Ryan always blows the motor
@Andrew, believe it or not. During a show if it needs to happen they can change a motor in 30 minutes or less. And they can change a transmission in 30 minutes or less
You obviously have never seen a nhra meet as those guys pull apart and rebuild an engine in less then an hour
The sheer amount of vehicle control is wild. Also whoever was flying the FPV drone got some killer shots.
I agree and I bet they were a bit scared of the truck hitting it lol
0 seconds in and a holly molly moment already with that huge monster truck, appreciate the content hoonigan, love your videos
I would love to see footage of him driving on the road
The foot control that Ryan has to do the nose stand that thing is outstanding
The amount of air he gets off that barrier as a kicker is insane! Crazy how much control he has in that thing...
I remember watching the tech talk about this monster truck. I was amazed just how many things were engineered in order to drive them so hard. And it weighs over 5 frickin tons!
6 tons! The thing is a goddamn metal elephant.
"...I wanna run things over, I wanna jump things...." - Ryan Anderson 😆
lmao
Words the people wanna hear&see when seeing this truck anywhere.
Better hit the RII, just to be safe.
Wow it's Cool that I can see Son Uva Digger's K&N Blower Motor attached on top of the Engine at 7:11 and that Black Exhaust Pipes at 8:05!
Run what over? All I see is dirt
Every time I see Ryan i get a proud dad feel.. and I do t even have kids.
Major respect for him and his crew.
I love Ryan Anderson. Carrying on with what his dad built, it's so awesome to see!
It had to be intimidating standing in the yard hearing this beast get closer and closer. That’s prob why Hert was terrified 😂
Hert has a natural ability to break his and other people's "basic" cars, he doesn't want to be responsible for breaking a 1/4 million dollar or more vehicle and the sheer size of it would end up hurting others along the way. I applaud his restraint, Zach on the other hand lol.

I cant wait to see the throtl collabs 🔥
That was some of the most impressive driving and mastering of a craft I've ever seen

I think there should be a drag race between this monster truck and a tank on “this vs that”. now that would just be insane!
There's nothing like a monster truck to bring out the kid in everyone! That was badass!
Seeing the Hoonigan team be just a giddy as me seeing these beasts makes me smile.
Also… when he said “yeah, we’ll just swap it out right here…” I genuinely thought he was joking. Mad props
"Rumble in the Grundle" seems like a tshirt idea to me.

Love grave digger and the Anderson family, been watching them and monster jam for the last 14 years
I cannot give enough credit and respect to Ryan and his team that just casually swap out the motor real quick, to hoon some more.

Yoooooo. The beat on the beauties of the truck went SOO hard.
SO Stoked y'all let the guys next door check it out, that had to have made their day!
That's a day at work they're never going to forget
Everyone should go and see these trucks live. Thanks hoonigan for the in depth review on this beast.
The amount of control he has and knowledge of where the truck is just mind blowing..
Nothing beats that original Mike Cox jump with the ol bronco at the donut garage, but this was still sick to see bouncing around the yard. Respect.
Ryan takes after his father. Dennis is a show man, always doing it HARD for the crowd.
The Andersons are legends
The best driver and paint job in all of monster trucks! The drone shot of the nose wheeley was priceless. Nice job drone pilot!

1:05 I love this drone shot. Too fricken cool lol also love that yall got a safety team on standby.
Those drone shots up close following the truck belong in a movie, thats how good they were!!!
Puts the phrase "car control" on the top tier. Vehicle position awareness and control is amazing.
Ryan is the literal embodiment of “Just Ain’t Care” and I’m so stoked you guys collaborate together.
This is so amazing. Would love to see Ryan try his skill in other disciplines like drifting or grip, he must have insane car control
This is one of the hardest montage intros u guys have had aside from the 3 rotor drag car and leroys intro
Such majestic machines 🥲
This dude is just a crazy little kid that loves trucks, stuck in an adult body. The exact perfect type of person to drive this monster. I love it.

lmao the little RC car just trying to survive under that monster :D
Nothing brings out the giddyness of a car enthusiast than a monster truck shredding it with no Fks given
Can't wait to see monster jam in Philadelphia this Easter gonna be awesome
"they're gonna swap this motor out and keep the party goin" is the best thing I've heard in my life
"Best Yard Kill...Ever!!!"

Is this a second monster truck video. YYYAAASSS!!!
Its Amazing How fast that huge truck is off the line
Love how these guys just swap motors like it's a tire change.
That's a WHOLE lotta tire shine on them bad boys!

You guys outdid yourself with this video..hats off EPIC !
That was sick as hell, best one yet.
I vote for Ryan Anderson for a recoil style video. Let this dude hit the streets!
That moonwalk was sick AF, I usta watch monster jam when Dennis Anderson and Tom Meents were goin at it. Epic.
My fave collab in sports entertainment = Son-Uva Digger x Hoonigan 🥛🖤
