I had one. 5000 series Rally certified. Garret T35 turbo, Magneti Marelli electronics and Weber fuel system. The car had much more horsepower then given by the manufacturer. Awesome car !!!!!

Dusting the cage with bits of the original car is one of the dopest things I've seen and a great showcase of the love that exist in this lifestyle between driver and vehicle. Respect man.
Gotta say that livery is super sick compared to the muted black and white last year, hopefully this one wont be bubbling off in a ditch though. Keep the hoonage coming Ken.

For someone who's never had one, but watched a lot of old WRC Cossies, I love that you've carried history into the future. Taking a few symbols, ground up bits from the original, and integrating them into the paint, is an homage. It shows respect for those that worked on, and drove the originals. Hopefully, Version 2 will get the same treatment when the time comes.

The Escort Cossie is one of those cars that just looked so right in stock form, even when I was really in to modified cars in the early 90's you rarely saw a modified one that looked right* and it was hard to even get different wheels outside the classic choices, Compomotive Mo, Montecarlos, to look right. Nothing over 18s or it looked like a toy. Even the WRC was a lot uglier. * the Wolf stuff from Germany worked quite well, but was really subtle. Ken's mk II looks great and it's kind of in keeping with the time with the tarmac arches and x-pack kits of it's era. At the end of the day Ken owns my three favourite Fords (mk II, RS200 and Cossie) and he rocks his own style on all of them.
great no more throttle cable to get hung up since I've never had one hang up on me ever but what is possible is your electric throttle body can short out and hold it Wide Open when you don't want it to that's just great that has happened
This has got me hyped for 100 Acre Wood. Race motocross, started looking at Rally a little bit and can't wait to see the Cossie in action at my first Rally.
I love the aesthetic balance of the old Group A car, very 90s, clean flowing lines in the body of the car; with the front lip complimenting the large rear wing. Cossie V2 on the other hand has more of a brutal beauty. Strong hard lines in the livery, the giant box flares, to me it evokes a sort of Picasso-esque boxy, modern art feel. It has a way of just catching your eye. Very cool, its as though everything about the car was turned up to 11, without losing the soul of the original Group A car.
Turning the old parts into metal flake for the paint is the most innovative idea I've heard of for old parts to live on. Thank you Sensei Block for inspiration. 🤙🤙

You can really see the difference in suspension. It actually compresses like a WRC car. The 90's ones all look to be so stiffly sprung
