loved how you critique the aspect of oversharing and being too honest. Leading with transparency can be good, but you also don't owe people all of your personal information. It can change the energy and dynamic of a situation and people may then engage with you differently! It's about protecting your peace
I love hearing you guys talk about literally anything, its like having a cozy conversation with friends. It is also helpful to hear other couples talk about what they do with their money ie joint accounts
Firstly, I’m so happy there’s a soju with Sarah episode to watch in the morning after a long long week. It really feels like a sense of relief to see a new episode. This topic especially as well because financial decisions are so difficult and causes me so much stress. Thank you for sharing this ❤️
Very much resonate with your points at 26:43, about being able to pursue upward mobility, in much part at the expense of my parents hard work growing up. I like to think I’ll pay it forward ~shrugs~
Hi Sarah! As always I always love hearing about your well thought out outlooks on topic. I moved to New York about a year ago and if you happen to want to meet I would love to meet and chat. I feel like your personality I really resonate with having watched your talks. Hopefully this doesn’t come off as too burdensome and if not- I will continue to tune in to your talks. Your video have really helped me out especially the episode about feeling lost in your twenties. As someone who left behind a career in anesthesia and transitioned to tech I really had a lot of self doubts but your content helped me pull through and keep working forward in my life 😊 so this is me shooting my friendship shot
I feel like if you hide who you are as a person just so that ppl don't judge you is not the way to go. If being vulnerable with someone leads them to judge you, then they're not a friend.
seasons with helping parents is such a good mantra! i will be graduating next year and hopefully have a full time job and this has been a main concern of mine so this is a really good advice 🫶🏾

Great pod ❤️❤️ Taking about money can be a very difficult conversation in relationships but I do think it’s a necessary topic
