I suspect that firefly last through death, because they wanted the fire on the ground to last even if batrider dies. But the flames on the ground are tied to buff duration, so they just made the buff last through death as a quick solution
even Legion Commanders duel dmg was permanent, wow
My suggestion: Dota 2 But NICE Durations
Environmental hazard buff spells that last through death:
Bat rider literally want to set the world on fire
Firefly persists through death because the fire on the ground only disapears after the buff timer is gone, otherwise the fire would just disapear when batrider dies
Kunkka's Torrent Storm persists through death too
this turned into "dota 2 but try not to click glyph" real quick

actually if u get to the next level of unleash, the next burst is gonna be upgraded. For example u had 3-hit burst, and then u lvl up ult, use 3-hit burst, then the next burst will have 4 hits

if you can only cast sidekick on allied heroes, you cannot buff all 5. You always affect 2 (either turning on or off, doesn't matter) which means you can only reach even numbers of permanent buffs.
can you buy an item like ring of basilica and then sell it right away but keep the buff?

Is it possible to have all terrain changing abilities to have infinite duration? I'm talking ofcourse stuff like Chronosphere, Fissure, Acid Spray, Ice Path, Avalanche, Ice Vortex, those kind of stuff.
Also LD ult persists through death. Which kind of makes sense too in the same way as meta.
