Thank you for this presentation and explanation of Word/Office alternatives. The majority of the time I just need to create and edit a Word document so it's nice to know which options offer document creation and the ability to work both on and offline.wps is good.
This is a misleading title, don't say that those "completely free" if the one you are highlighting have limited tools and capability which you can access only if you pay.
Thanks bro...I was searching alternative from last 15 day bt not found appropriate app for iPad ....& Fortunately I found ur video...I got 3-4 app for iPad.... thanks alot 😊
Btw you can use the online version of microsoft office completely free of charge. So if you are considering any of the mentioned online services, have the office in mind too. It also offers 5gb of free storage. Just saying. I prefer to use offline editors, but i do use the online version of office sometimes.
free version of free office is good but missing lots of features to get those you need to buy - for example drop down lists in planmaker cant be created in the "free" version
I've used OpenOffice Calc as an option. I prefer using a spreadsheet as a database rather than a database mainly because my experience with a database program like Access is that the database tends to be very fragile. Make the slightest mistake and database falls apart. When I used Microsoft Office I used a combination of Access and Word rather than Access to generate the reports I needed.
@BeProductiveOfficial I am currently using Libre Office, and I started about four weeks ago. I'm also getting Linux advice from the channel The Linux Experiment.
I agree with you especially after trying Libre Office. It is fucking GARBAGE that can't even open documents in the right place and the "developers" refuse to acknowledge that being a problem 😂🤣
WPS is excellent but ad supported. Only Office is a pretty good free alternative and supports Microsoft file formats remarkably well, but extensions are harder to add than in LibreOffice or OpenOffice.

I also use wps all the time and I love using their beautiful templates.
We appreciate you taking the time to express your opinions.@@marryrose-dv6mh
Be careful with this software, it will force online functions, censor text content, and even forcefully delete user files, which is very perverted.

Free office is use to safe or not ?
Please answer.......
Because i use free office....
Yes, FreeOffice is safe to use.
I have stopped using Microsoft's version because they have just kept adding so much bloatware over the years that I don't care for.
You can use one of these
@BeProductiveOfficial I am currently using Libre Office, and I started about four weeks ago. I'm also getting Linux advice from the channel The Linux Experiment.
i use excel for heavy stuff, LibreOffice is terrible. if you are doing a home budget ok, professional level is impossible.
Thanks for the recommendation!

Hello dummy free and good are totally different.
the only good one is WPS, the others are trash and good to go to the garbage

I prefer FreeOffice. I think WPS is a potential security risk.

NOT FREE. I am looking for a simple alternative to Microsoft Word that is available on Android.
Have you tried Google Docs?
First of all, these aren’t free at all 😂
Most of them are freemium
