So many events for 2024! I'm hoping to do most of the GT3 & GTP events with my usual sim racing chums. The Road America 500 last year was a revelation, a really great change to the usual special events and the two cars are immense fun. 100% on board for that again this year. -I love doing the big team events! -The Nordschleife is one of my favorite tracks overall and racing in the middle of the session where there's no one within two minutes of me in either direction is pretty cool! -My Coke 600 went green from like lap 85 to the end last year....that was a grind! -I think Watkins Glen is the best one for folks who want to run their first team race. The Glen is very friendly and it's a shorter one stint-wise. -I wish that they didn't move the race from Suzuka to Fuji, but I think it'll still be fun! Great video, thank you for your input!!!!
I so hope that when we get to the 1000 in October we have the Gen 3 Supercars added to iRacing. Sure they have been a little underwhelming in the real word, but with a little iRacing BOP pass, I'm sure they will be fine for iRacing.
This was a good video explaining all of the events, despite the snarky remarks of my beloved ovals lol. I will say that the Daytona 500 is chill for the most of it, as far as oval racing goes. Tight pack racing is something you always need to be switched on for. After I completed the full 500 last year (finished 2nd in my split) I had to take a nap. Coke 600 is sorta the same way, close racing the whole time and constant passing, tire saving, fuel saving etc. Bristol 500 is just mental, it's a craaazy track and even crazier race. I'm SO happy the Indy 500 is returning though, I desperately missed it last year.
I cant seem to drive the GT3, prototype cars with the Clubsport V2 type of wheel. I just domt get how they turn man. I am slow as shit on most tracks and I can drive NASCAR's and the Mercedes.
my plan for this year is to run full NASCAR season and the Indy 500. last year I've missed the Daytona (started iRacing just before that, haven't had even the oval C license that time :( ), but this year definitely I'll do that. I ran the Coke 600. well, simply brutal. I've crashed into the wall at T3 around lap 260, because my left foot hurt so much that I simply couldn't break. so, will full speed just... landed in the wall. from the 3rd place :( that race can easily be longer than 4 hours. aaaaand the funny part is that what happens if a racer has to go to the bathroom? :D Daytona is something what you cannot win before lap 190-195, but you can easily lose. it is mentally challenging. simply there is no room for error above 300km/h.
ROAR was my first ever iRacing special event. Now I need to find teammates for the Daytona 24. Why do I wait so long to get things set up? 😢😂 I just wanna go fast in my Cadillac GTP
Im doing my first ever endurance race this week at the daytona 24, will be racing the ferrari gt3 for Prismatic Motorsports (a transgender only esports team) where we will be raising money for charity :D
@eliteghost0001 before when I said I'm going to pick up a Trans I was going to the junk yard. It was just understood. Now you have to follow it up with the word mission. Which sounds even more suspect. 2024 is crazy

Great video! The tip for running Bristol and Indy 500 update insert were hilarious.
The coke 600 is a must race in my opinion. But be ready, it’s usually like 5-6 hours.
But my favorite nascar race of the season is the Bristol night race, if you’re gonna do any of the nascar special events, that’s the number 1 for me.

2 manned Bathurst 12 hour last year. Double stints around there absolutely killed both of us 😂 the level of concentration was absurd.

There's often teams looking for drivers. We'd appreciate extras but we're in the Porsche GT3. I hope you find a team to run with!
