Lots of great advice in your vlog. I think time spent out in nature with you will be very memorable for your kids. I'm 58, and I had a mother who also took me outdoors all the time. And my earliest memories are the ones of being outside with her. I wonder if it was so much more memorable than other things because not only was I happy and stress-free but with so many senses being used outdoors the memories may be easier to form. I'm in NZ. When I remember walking in the bush with my Mum I can even remember the smell of the trees after the rain. When I hear the Tuis and the cicadas, it takes me back to that time with her.
That is so beautiful to hear! I really hope the same happens for William and Clara. I also feel like I'm just a better mom when we're out exploring. I'm fully present with them, I'm more patient, I embrace my inner child a lot more when we're surrounded by nature.
@@Becca.Loveless They'll definitely form lovely memories, and be able to call on that sense of peace throughout their adult lives. You're doing a great job!
Northern latitudes mean very short days (long nights) in Winter. If you're someone who *needs* the sun that could be challenging. I'm a sun person and even here in NZ I find the short winter days can sap my energy.
Lovely video, thanks for sharing your day out! I wish I could send you some sunshine over from NZ and hope there are plenty of blue sky moments in between the bit challenging parts of the season… I’m also taking the kids outdoors as much as I can and I just love being outside and away from all the modern life things at home and the feeling of pressure which comes with it (like cleaning, answering emails, preparing stuff for future events to come, coping with bored kids…). It’s very nice to see that there are like minded people out there, experiencing the same thing 😃🌸! Have a very good weekend!! Greetings from Cambridge (we moved a few weeks ago, in case you wonder why not from Hamilton 😅)
Are you liking Cambridge more than Hamilton?? And the weather has been soooo lovely here recently I really can't complain! My tune will change by the end of the winter though. But I totally agree! Being an outdoor mom is much easier to me than being an indoor mom.
If you're looking for a dry place to burn some energy, the indoor bike park at Capilano Mall in North Van is now open. Just in case you get tired of all the rain, lol
That’s such cute raingear William is wearing, also you are so lucky to have access to such a lovely place
I squeal every time he wears it and I catch sight of him from a distance. It's so stinking cute! And Clara has a matching one.
William and Clara are sure fortunate to have you and Billy as parents!
I hope they think so!

I seriously can't believe it's so pretty here! Can't wait to explore and share more of it over the coming years.
