So beautiful memories man. First time i play starcraft was in 2000 ? and Since 2005, on iccup i just kept played for 4 years until sc2 show up, something like that. So well made game. I've watched some FPVODS made of Bisu and i can say .....oh man, is just imposible to move like that but whatever... we are not Bisu =)

Does Disruption Web stop lurkers from attacking? seems like a massive missed opportunity.
Pros never use web. I think it has to do with how short a time it lasts. It does work vs. lurkers, though.

Really terrible game by Zero. At no point did he even attempt any counterplay in the form of drops/side skirmishes/distractions against Bisu and only defended, defended, defended against Bisu's relentless assaults and drops, even when they were somewhat equally matched in terms of supply.

why no protoss player uses disruption web?? is it a very bad idea??
I really don't know, other than the fact that it doesn't last very long.
Short duration, costs a lot of mana (you can’t cast two in a row without an upgrade), and most enemies can just move out from under it with no trouble. You very occasionally see it used in pro PvT to shut down mass siege tanks, but arbiter with stasis field is usually a better choice for this.
Azathoth117 it would be good vs lurkers and allow to take them down by zealots. They can't move. Also corsair energy not used for anything else.
Nubia Anima Maybe, but I think in PvZ you would usually want your Corsairs to be focusing on overlords so that your observers don’t get wiped out and you can actually find lurkers. The biggest argument against disruption web is probably the cost of getting it. You can build Corsairs right away (and most players in PvZ do) but you can’t make the most of disruption web unless you have a fleet beacon (300m/200g) so you can research the tech itself (200/200) and then research the energy upgrade (100/100). For that price you could just buy four more Corsairs and have a better chance at air dominance. All this on a structure that you probably don’t want to build to begin with because it’s only other use is carriers which aren’t super good in PvZ.
Azathoth117 I know disruption web is a quite high investment but if you already have over 10 corsairs using tha bility, of which you can use two with full energy (And all are always at full energy) could really wreck the zerg, considering most their army is lurkers and you only need a moment to cast; it also would make pushes into sunkens easier.

I cannot understand why the Protoss player doesn't take advantage of the Corsair's Disruption Web ability. Like a reverse dark swarm. Makes hydras and spore colonies worthless. Especially defense structures. Could be using that in conjunction with High Templar storm or Reavers or making attacks against bases without taking hits. In fact would be useful to see it more in games. Corsair is more agile than a Defiler after all.

because the production is slow and costly,if against the zery,protoss and terran will never ever use carriers due to easily die by scourage in my point of view

Yes but you need to build a fleet beacon, then research dweb first. It's too big of an investment for most protoss.

Protoss without effective reaver and templar management will lose 100% of ground battles...protoss ground units are the weakest. .zerg better...terran easily more cost effective
The toss player lost alot of zealots and goons. He forgot carriers and more dark templar. Maybe a few more canons in the expanded bases. The zerg player with mutalisks could had change the game a bit he lost alot of zerglings. If you are winning the economy just mass spam carriers and canons. Maybe more archons zealots looked like they don't do well against hydra and lurkers. Why protoss afraid of zergling rush? Has anyone notice why you do air control to destroy overlords? Zealots cheap units losing against lurkers plus hydralisks. That is why you guys just spam goons instead of doing heavy units. Dt shuttle is much more effective than zealots and shuttle.

The races in SC1 are extremely balanced. So its either co-incidence or Mr Falcon prefers that :)
I don't know about that.. Maybe its balanced if you are at the level of a flash.. Terran is very difficult to use in SC1.
I guess for a beginner protoss can be more forgiving, but the game is balanced once a player is good enough.. Is that not what you would prefer of a game?
not really because it seems that the game is balanced when you are a korean savant playing the game 12 hours a day. when i used to play this back in the day, i was playing for a couple of years straight and terran was always a challenge... Everything is so fragile.. watching the top players is very misleading. They would throw dark swarm into my tank line and just burst right through me. To have everything in perfect placement, micro'ing while macro'ing like crazy takes a lot of skill.. So unless you are playing this game hours and hours and hours a day most people will just be protoss or zerg. .. id say the majority will have more success with protoss.
