🤔I would like to convey an idea that can simplify the process of this artist and many others: we have been brought up with the idea that "great painters" are consummate masters, who developed secret impossible techniques, and mysterious skills that are lost forever ; but, it is this aura of mystery and idolatry that precisely awakens in us that excess of almost pathological admiration, towards these famous characters; that projected charisma is enough to completely change our vision and way of approaching the process of seeing and replicating their works, when, most likely, their art and techniques lack that supposed complexity and "magic" that we have projected on them as admirers and viewers. The artist of this channel undoubtedly harbors this udea in this excess of respect for the "great ones", and, therefore, his processes start out predisposed from an excess of prudence, caution and fear about how to approach painting. It should be noted that I have deliberately used quotation marks to minimize the importance of the world of academic art, this is only for dissuasive and didactic purposes to break that mental obstacle paradigm or program that prevents us from seeing objectively. Also clarify that this comment is directed with the best of intentions, and in order to free the obstacles, in order to free our mind, palette and brushes, from the apparently insurmountable fear that blocks our path in the arts. They, the great geniuses, and it has to be said, evidently made art with much less elements than we suppose and believe, I assure you: they used less paint, less colors or a reduced palette, fewer layers and material than we assume. I sincerely believe that it would be a good exercise to try to do more and better results, with fewer elements. Kind regards. 🙏
