Nikki I almost fell over when you said you are 38 I thought you may be 30 if that. You’re gorgeous and it shows that taking care of your skin and body makes a difference. I do red light therapy as well. It really does work.i have an at home red light therapy and i will never stop.
@@Makeupbynikkilaroseyeahh girl I yelled out loud SHE SAID 38?! And went back to fact check lol . That's incredible!!!! 😮 🎉🎉 I thought you were 30. You bet I'm saving this video 😅❤
Please don't feel anyway because you are able to afford the things you can afford. Where you are in your life is nobody's business. You do you, girl👌🏾! I use Tretinoin as well 😊and it is a God send!
I am in my 70s I love makeup, I love your videos I think it is your honesty, I pass on your recommendations to my family and they appreciate you too. I have never done anything invasive on my face, I am always complimented on my skin. I always follow my morning and evening routine and keep out of the sun, use sunscreen. I always have kept out of the sun even before sunscreen was invented for the face. 😂😂 I know I am not in your demographic but I just love your attitude.
I think what matters most is for us to pay attention to taking care of ourselves all along the way, knowing that we may make different choices as we age based on any number of factors. Women get so busy that sometimes they wake up after years of not paying any attention to themselves and want to try to fix everything, and that is really hard. Think of it like having a car that you always keep covered and take care of and clean and wax, and your 60-year old car still looks great, not new, but well-cared for. All that to say...don't apologize for doing any of this because you are "only 38." No one is ever going to give you a pass and say, "OK. You are old enough. Now you have permission." I also think it is good to share what you do for your skin behind the scenes with your community to remind us that it's not JUST makeup.
I just had sofwave!! 2 weeks ago! Oh I am so excited you got sofwave too, we are on our sofwave journey together Nikki!!! yes to botox and tretnoin, I started at 34, I just turned 48, do all the preventative things that you want to feel naturally your self and vibrant and healthy and happy!!!
I just turned 37 and God girl you do not look like your in your late 30s!! Do you and don't apologize for for what you can afford and how you choose to look as you age! Girl I'll wish I could afford treatments!! I love how authentic you are!!!
Do not apologize for anything you choose to do! I’m 61, started at 40 and it’s stopped the deep wrinkles from forming. Also am conservative and would never give it up. PS. What are you wearing on lips and cheeks today! Gorgeous colours.
I watched around 500 or more videos of different dermatologists and learned about proper skin care that way. I do everything at home. No treatment no needles, nothing. I'm 48 and my skin looks better than in my late 20s
Same. I’m 46 and save for my under eyes my skin looks like my 20s. My under eyes are starting to show age. But no one ever guesses my age. I only trust a few that I watch. But I also do my own research and talk to my bf that is a nurse. You don’t have to spend tons of money but hey if you can afford it and you feel like you need it. I say go for it.
I agree with you totally. I take a very good care of my skin myself, nothing like described here, maybe I have good genes? Who knows. People are always mistaken about my age, so I think that I’m doing something right.
I am happy for you, but I have scarring from a major accident and I’m interested in hearing about treatments that can even out my complexion and areas that are droopy. Not everyone is “conned.” Some people are looking for solutions.
I really appreciate your honesty in this video. It really helps to put things in perspective. When I see a lot of people online around my age but they look 10 year's youger, I wonder what I am doing wrong. This helps because I guess I didn't consider people do procedures and gadgets I've never heard of.
Oh yes MAJORLY!! between prescription skincare, pricey Korean skincare, medical spa treatments such as peels, microneedling, Botox, fillers, lip fillers, jaw filler, red light treatments, dermaplaning, on a regular basis! There is so much editing and filters being used on videos, the lighting itself really blurs, and sometimes their camera lenses can be as much as $8000.00, they have access to the world's best primers, expensive sunscreen, the list goes on, for many RUclipsrs this is their full time job so they invest thousands into the way they appear on screen, many are wealthy enough to eat the best diets which really helps and don't forget all the beauty supplements on the market, collagen,biotin,coQ10, fish oils etc. the majority put on fake tans which helps even everything out as well! So your probably normal for your age lol. Many of us normal folks have survived life altering traumas and stressed, most of the bigger RUclipsrs haven't birthed children yet, they can afford the best dental care, $3000+ per tooth for implants/veneers, as well as the finest haircare products, blowouts, treatments, tools, microneedling & eyebrow lamination, stylists from hair and clothing, some of the finest gold jewelry etc. many have had bigger procedures like boob jobs, ear pinning, face threads, nose jobs. They have access to saunas and steaming and such, This all makes a gigantic difference in their appearance so do not ever compare! God bless sweetheart 😘🙏❤
Love wrinkle relaxer (Botox, xeomin, Dysport, jeuveau, daxxy) for preventing deep lines in the face! I also do RF microneedling yearly for collagen and elastin production and I’ve done laser peels. How amazing to have access to non-surgical options for keeping the skin nice and rejuvenated! 😊
I love that you are sharing this openly. I'm 48 and have done most of what you are doing since about 31 and I get asked all the time how I look so much younger than my age...pretty much exactly your routine so I can confirm it works! Just started the redlight therapy myself this last year, started with a mito panel and didn't get much results, moved to the omnilux mask and realized my drooping cheeks (I also had/have full cheeks that are moving south) weren't creating jowls anymore...immediately ordered the neck one since I'm losing ground there fast. 😆 Anyway, agree that the red light therapy is actually effective. You look beautiful as always! ❤
I love your openness! Botox works so well (from what I've seen; haven't done it myself) if done by an experienced injector/derm. As you rightly say: if it makes you feel more confident and beautiful, do it.
I’ve gotten Botox since 2020. Thankfully the nurse I worked with in healthcare who does mine, does almost like “baby Botox” so my face still moves. It’s 2024 and maybe 3 ppl know I get it done and it’s only bc I told them. Plus I don’t go religiously every 3months. I go like 2-3x a year to get it done
Thnx for sharing! I am 63 and love the red light! I broke my knee and it healed in 6 weeks all because of the red light!thank you for all your valuable insights!
Thank you so very much!! I'm so glad to finally find someone who is completely honest, so informative, and I've learned more in the past month from you about makeup/skin etc., than I have my entire life. No one ever taught me how to take care of my skin or apply makeup growing up so I just kind of winged it. I'm now 50 and learning what I wish I knew when I was 16. I appreciate all that you do to be able to make these videos for us. You are truly an angel! I truly love all your videos and I'm trying to get caught up on watching the videos from before i subscribed. Thank you again! I truly appreciate you, more than you know!❤
Happy Belated Birthday 🥳 I am 46.5 yrs old and still do not feel ready for Tretinoin 🤷🏻♀️ As you get older experimenting less has been better for ME. As in keeping it simple. Shout out to board certified dermatologist Dr. Dray. 🐐
i truly appreciate your honesty and transparency, but i never want to hear you apologizing, because you shouldn’t ever feel that way with us. we love you!!! i wish i could get botox and i’d love to get that treatment for my chin!!! trust me, i’d do it in an instant if possible. 🥰🥰🥰
Red light & near infra-red light have a multitude of benefits. Do your research & get one if you can afford it! Also, there's a body of research out there showing it helps the rods & cones of the retina healthy.
REDLIGHT THERAPY IMPROVED MY SKIN SO MUCH THAT I GET COMPLIMENTS DAILY-& I’M 54!!! I’ve been using a long panel from the company Platinum LED for almost 2 years now!!! U have to be consistant😊
Thanks for sharing beauty tips. I am almost 56 and fine lines are not a concern (thanks to my mom's genes) but a daily routine helps a lot, I started last year getting into a habit of having a night face routine and my dark spots are almost gone and the couple of fine lines I had are fading away. I tried expensive products to reduce dark spots before and nothing worked. Now I am trying some online products and believe or not Trader Joe's products and what a difference. Fasting for 15 hours has also made a big difference on my skin.
I’m an aesthetic nurse so of course I’m a little biased 😉 but there is artistry in medical aesthetics. Everyone should be allowed to do what they want to feel their best!
Omg I have a red light panel and I agree 100%. I lay under it everyday for a minimum of 20 min but mostly 40 min. My skin looks amazing to be 56. It helps with muscle recovery and inflammation. I have the platinum LED lights
I love the fact that you are so real It is a personal choice If it makes you feel good about your self then do it 😊 I think you are absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing. How do you go about finding a good doctor?
I was sceptical about red light therapy as well but I was intrigued enough to buy a very inexpensive face mask. I've been using it for about 8 months and it's amazing! It's improved my skin texture so much, it's added brightness and it makes my skin hold on to moisture so much better. Loving it!
I'm really glad you're open to talking about this! I will never do any of these treatments, but I think it's important to know when a beauty influencer uses treatments like these. It helps me as a viewer put into perspective that I can't compare my skin to yours. I'm not doing anything wrong, I'm just not using any help other than makeup!
Thank you for your openness. I always have little trust in product recommendations (creams, serums, etc.) from RUclipsrs if they don't also mention which additional treatments they use.
I absolutely see a change with RED LIGHT THERAPY. I got the Maysama pulsing and after 2 months it's amazing. I just turned 56 and yes I have a great skincare routine but this is a game changer!!!
Thank you for being honest about your skincare. It’s nice to know that we all have different ways of keeping our skin looking perfect may it be natural or with some help from others ways.
Thank you Nikki!!! Every LIVE on Sunday I want to know about your skin!!! 😂😊 age, when you started treatments, etc. You did answer my question regarding if you do facials but wanted to ask more. Love you and your channel!!! ❤
Nikki, I am a new subscriber and wow… 38? I thought you where 10 years younger, you have beautiful skin and I love you videos. Right now I’m here at my couch watching a playlist of your videos 🤍 while I eat something.
Thanks for sharing all of this Nikki! Everyone’s skin journey is different and I love you sharing this information so if someone is interested they can look into these treatments.
I’m on week one of a super low dose tret through apostrophe and im already so so so dry and breaking out worse! Im hoping to just super moisturize and get through the purge but man, it’s hard to see it get worse and keep going!
I’ve been binge watching all of your videos since December. Thank you for explaining how I can update my makeup routine now that I turned 60. Btw happy birthday 🎂
Love your honesty snd transparency. I am in my 60s and have taken good vare of my skin. That said.I have been curious about adding retinol snd possibly ted light therapy. I will talk to my aesthetician and get her opinion since sheknowsme/my skin! Ty so much! We are years apart chronologically age but I feel like a part of your "family".😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
I love your honesty when talking about treatments. I have rosacea so cannot use Tretinion or even most retinol products. I am 62 and have been doing Botox for approximately 13 years and will continue. It is expensive and the older you get the more often I need it but I feel better about myself because of it. I have done different laser treatments throughout the years and the most invasive was the CO2 laser and the downtime was awful. I will never do it again. I will definitely be looking into the treatment you had done. Thanks for always being so helpful and honest! You are beautiful inside and out!
I love this video Nikki! You mentioned in another video you were using something to grow your eyebrow hairs! I was curious which product it was and how you liked it?
Love this video. I have been using red light therapy for almost 2 years and I love It. It has helped my seasonal affective disorder. I sleep better. My rosacea is more manageable. I use Mito Red panel. Nikki I think it’s great you talk about skin care especially sunscreen. You have gorgeous skin. Mitch did good!
After watching this I looked into apostrophe for myself. Thank you so much for this option. I’ve wanted to go to a dermatologist and it’s so nice I can do it from home ! I too have oily skin and it’s a blessing and a curse.
Thank you so much for being honest. I love to hear your insights and list of things that you do. Because as a woman I look to other women, compare my age and what I see in the mirror vs what I see in a video. So it's good reality check. ❤
I immediately saw a difference in your skin as I turned your video on 👍 I can see a difference in your jawline tightness, even though we're always gorgeous, you don't need it but I do see a difference Hun 🎉 Thank you so much for sharing & love you!!!
Hi. You look beautiful and have gorgeous skin. I am sure that took a lot of effort and consistency. If you dont mind sharing more, what are the products you use on a regular basis for skincare ? Thank you.
Thanks for sharing! I'll be 40 in April and have been getting Botox in my forehead since 34. I'll never stop getting it! I noticed when I turned 39 that my face starting changing in the jowl area. I just bought the Ziip Halo to try to help the area, but I'd love to try the Sofwave one day.
I love the honesty! I definitely see the difference in the facial you got! Its nothing crazy but I do see your eyes more lifted you look so youthful! Thanks for being so honest!!!
Thank you so much for your honesty! It’s so refreshing and I think you did a great job explaining why you pursue these skin treatments in a tone that doesn’t pressure others to follow suit.
Thank you for sharing and being honest. I may have to look into the red light therapy. I believe Lisa Eldridge does that as well if I am remembering correctly.
This video was soso helpful! Thank you for sharing! Your transparency is so appreciated & honestly, these are still minimal but EFFECTIVE self-care things. I loved hearing about it all! Thank you!!! ❤
Thanks Nikki! I have a red light mask but only used it for a couple of weeks, then it sat on my shelf. You got me inspired to start using it on a regular basis again! I enjoyed this video! Have a great weekend!❤
The same for me, but I started using mine on a regular basis last fall around the end of October. Started using it every day for a couple of weeks and then about 3 to 5 times a week. All of a sudden I was getting compliments on my skin on a daily basis. No kidding! Then I realized what a change it had made with consistent use. When my alarm goes off in the morning, I hit the snooze button and put on my mask (I keep it on a shelf in my nightstand). Give it another try, you’ll be happy that you did!
I really enjoy your channeland think you are gorg! I would have liked if you did this video bareface as you talk us through your process. Idk it just makes it more relatable, however thank you for sharing. Great content as always ❤
Hello Nikki, you are right to do all this, your skin is magnificent. On the other hand, as much as I like doing my beauty routine with creams, masks, etc., all these accessories irritate me and I don't have the patience or time for that. Thanks for this tutorial😄😄😄
Ive been doing otc retinol for a year now and am ready for trentenoin. Even considering botox. My friend did laser and honestly there is not a lot of difference and I don’t have time to hide (her face was scabby and it took weeks to look repaired) I’m 51 now and starting to see more lines and a tiny bit of jowel starting (wahh) but can say that L’Oreal 0.3% retinol serum is a great start for anyone beginning. I’m thankful for being skincare obsessed and doing sunscreen since my early 30’s. Thanks for this, Nikki! Love that you don’t use fillers. You’re gorgeous and have incredible skin.
I loved this and thank you for the honesty! Your truly an amazing person, so strong and beautiful inside and out! Thanks for always sharing with us. I enjoyed this a lot❤
Hi Nikki, thank you for being so honest and helpful. You’re so beautiful and it’s so good how you take care of skin and body. It makes it so much easier to use something once getting the information after someone you trust that has tried it. Have a wonderful Sunday 💗
I work for a plastic surgeon in NYC ( I’ve been there forever) I get the fear ! Halo & BBL lasers are the best treatments ! Especially BBL are known to reverse the signs of aging.
I have hypermobile EDS, and now that I’m 42 the skin sagging almost makes me more sad than the pain, the bruises and the compromised immune system. My skin is soft and elastic - no wrinkles - but I see my face drooping at an alarming pace. I’m starting to think about procedures more and more
When traveling with a red light mask, please be careful to keep it flat and protect the connection where the wire attaches to the mask. I slip my masks (face & neck) in their pouches with one flat loop in the cord, then slide them into an empty 1/2” 3 ring binder so they will stay flat. It travels easily in my backpack, briefcase, or between layers in my carryon. The electrical connections in my first mask broke after traveling flat between layers of clothing.
Thank you for the open honest tips! Presented perfectly. And I e not heard about the sof wave, I will def look into that. I had Sculptra done for the same lower face tightening issues

Thank you for the transparency 😊. I thought you were in your late twenties! I can completely relate to losing routine when not at home.
Really loved this video! U look AMAZING!
What a great video Nikki!! Thank you for sharing what you’ve been doing for your skin. It’s always interesting to me to see what others are doing 🤍🤍🤍
After watching this I looked into apostrophe for myself. Thank you so much for this option. I’ve wanted to go to a dermatologist and it’s so nice I can do it from home ! I too have oily skin and it’s a blessing and a curse.
Great routine. I've added micro needling , red light , peels, micro current
Thank you so much for being honest. I love to hear your insights and list of things that you do. Because as a woman I look to other women, compare my age and what I see in the mirror vs what I see in a video. So it's good reality check. ❤
You look Amazing Nikki 🎉Beautiful inside and Out!
I received my BK Brushes today, So excited 🎉
Love this video so much! I love hearing about what other people are doing to keep their skin, body, and mind healthy. Thank you for sharing! 💖
Nikki!! yay new video. You are such a pretty lady and just watching your videos lifts my spirits.Thank you
I immediately saw a difference in your skin as I turned your video on 👍 I can see a difference in your jawline tightness, even though we're always gorgeous, you don't need it but I do see a difference Hun 🎉 Thank you so much for sharing & love you!!!
Thank you for your honesty and sharing your knowledge with us!
Hi. You look beautiful and have gorgeous skin. I am sure that took a lot of effort and consistency. If you dont mind sharing more, what are the products you use on a regular basis for skincare ? Thank you.
Share, share and share! I respect the honesty!
I’m 59, tomorrow, I appreciate this information. I need to start some of these treatments, SOON!😊
Happy belated birthday!!!!! I hope it was amazing !
It really was I visited Iguazú Falls with friends. It’s an amazing place.

Thank you so much for your honesty! It’s so refreshing and I think you did a great job explaining why you pursue these skin treatments in a tone that doesn’t pressure others to follow suit.
It is so great for creators are open and honest about those things! Thanks a lot for sharing!
Thank you so much for sharing ❤❤ Fantastic!!! I totally get you!! We all got to do what we got to do to feel beautiful and confident!!❤❤
I love how honest you are. Such a strong amazing woman!!! Go you babe!!!!
Thank you for sharing and being honest. I may have to look into the red light therapy. I believe Lisa Eldridge does that as well if I am remembering correctly.
Girl! Never feel any way but awesome about telling the truth! It’s the only way to be!
I LOVED this type of video! The honesty is so helpful!
Love this video!!!!!! So honest and genuine!!!! I'd love to know more about your journey battling inflammation
I really enjoy your channeland think you are gorg! I would have liked if you did this video bareface as you talk us through your process. Idk it just makes it more relatable, however thank you for sharing. Great content as always ❤
The new brown shade (Drift) in the Tower 28 mascara is 🙌🏼🙌🏼. Perfect for daytime or when you want a lighter application.
Hello Nikki, you are right to do all this, your skin is magnificent. On the other hand, as much as I like doing my beauty routine with creams, masks, etc., all these accessories irritate me and I don't have the patience or time for that. Thanks for this tutorial😄😄😄
Omg u are so right! I’m thinking to start Botox when I turn 40! It saves all the skin products and dermatologist appointments!
I thought you were like 33 at most! I just turned 39 and planning to get botox this year, so I'm definitely taking notes on all other things!
Hi Nikki, thank you for being so honest and helpful. You’re so beautiful and it’s so good how you take care of skin and body. It makes it so much easier to use something once getting the information after someone you trust that has tried it. Have a wonderful Sunday 💗
Love love love this video!!! Can you give us a video of your skin care routine & products you use ?
Thank you, great information! Also you have THE best jewelry. Can you please include the info in your videos?
I work for a plastic surgeon in NYC ( I’ve been there forever) I get the fear ! Halo & BBL lasers are the best treatments ! Especially BBL are known to reverse the signs of aging.
Thank you for sharing your routine. Please don't feel like you have to justify your actions. You do whatever it is that makes You happy! ❤
I have hypermobile EDS, and now that I’m 42 the skin sagging almost makes me more sad than the pain, the bruises and the compromised immune system. My skin is soft and elastic - no wrinkles - but I see my face drooping at an alarming pace. I’m starting to think about procedures more and more
Appreciate your honesty, Nikki!! Nothing to be ashamed about-different strokes for different folks 😂. You look GREAT😍😍
You look so stunning in this video. Love love love your makeup in this video. 💗
No apology beautiful lady! You work your butt off and deserve all that beauty has to offer❤❤P.S. You look 28 not 38!
Hey Nikki! Can you please share your diet with us? I am curious how you eat healthy with such a busy lifestyle. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video! I love to learn from others experiences! You're so gorgeous ❤
