Love the battery mower mate. I am very much looking forward to battery stuff in the future

It's so far proven to be a good investment. Loving the fact that I no longer need to spill petrol in the car/shed/lawn every few weeks 🤣. 🤙🏻

Hi champ how does the kikuyu do against dog urine does it repair quickly?

Hi mate, with good irrigation, it recovers fairly quickly. We also put Dog Rocks from Bunnings in the dogs water bowl, and it makes a huge difference to the severity of the burn.

Did you find the rear drive roller does nothing. It just spins on the grass and doesn't drive the mower. Looks like you are pushing it yourself

Unfortunately yeah, the roller "wheel spins" a fair bit. It does drive it up the hill if I let it, but not as fast as I'd like, so I am usually giving it a helping hand.

I got the same mower and scarifier and looks like from the same batch as I received same time as you. I’ve been having issues right from the start and not very happy tbh at how it’s all been handled.
Main issue was that when it’s off I could not pull or push the mower, meaning it would leave black lines on my tiles as I would have to drag it.
After months of to and fro it got repaired. I can now pull it but not push it when it’s off. From the allet UK videos this should not be the case.
Have you had any similar issues?

Hi mate, I haven't really experienced that. A few times when I first got it, it felt a bit like it wouldn't roll, but then I rocked it back and forth and it went. Hasn't happened since though. Did you have to send it away to be fixed? What ended up being the issue?

      @@thelionlawn still not fully fixed
One of the springs was too tight and so releasing the bale bar didn’t fully release. They shortened the spring and can roll it backwards.
But still gets stuck rolling it forwards.
Kinda fed up with the service. Took so long to even get my unit looked at and all sorts of excuses.

The biggest issue was getting it even looked at. They offered to pay for shipping back from brisbane to Victoria . Then all sorts of delays and excuses came in. Some not their fault. But when I called him out for changing the variables (they won’t collect cos it’s over this amount or this or this and even had emails to back it up, he went silent for several days.)
I was adamant I wanted it shipped back to them to get it fixed and initially they were happy to do so. But then ended up having to send locally.
They were happy to send me a brand new rear roller for me to fix myself but then when it went to brisbane cylinder mowers to get fixed they deferred.
Long story and months of frustration but it’s not fixed. Because it gets stuck, it drags and so now parts of the rear roller have paint missing and is rusting. I’ll email ADE again when u have the time but the replies are always very frustrating
I’m glad your unit is ok

I'm sorry to hear you've had such a poor experience mate. That all sounds really frustrating. I will say though that my rear roller has chipped the paint away and some surface rust has appeared, but that seems very common with most of these mowers, especially from the UK. It sounds like you have a genuine complaint for the ombudsman to look at if you could be bothered. It sucks because it's a significant investment for it not do as it's meant to.

@@thelionlawn thanks mate. The most ridiculous thing he said to me was that the warranty was considered the same as if it were a motor vehicle.
Sure if it was a big petrol model with engine and spark plugs!
