Great video
My 07 just cracked while towing with only 182k on it. Looking into getting yours.
What kind of sealant do you guys use for the lower radiator hose ? I just removed my oem one and notice white stuff on the fitting and hose side.
No sealant should be required on this hose. What you are seeing might be lubricant used to get the hose on or dried coolant.
@@mishimoto could be, thanks for reply
when is Mishimoto going to make a radiator for the 2500HD gas(6.0) model?
What year?
Can you do this for the L5p?
Feel free to send your year, make, and model with product suggestions to support@mishimoto.com. Thanks!
do you have an instruction video like this for the LML?
Right here! ruclips.net/video/ebxHtpgG4_Q/видео.html
what "pop-clip pliers" do you recommend? Link maybe? Thanks
Hey no no! The panel clip pliers in this video are not made by genius tools - many companies make them, and there are a ton of different styles. They're called push-pin pliers, pop-clip pliers, panel-clip pliers etc...here's a few links you can check out:

GENIUS TOOLS Clip Remover: www.amazon.com/GENIUS-TOOLS-Entferner-230mm-AT-TPR/dp/B001FVWOWK
They also make bent ones for tough to reach clips!
Mishimoto Automotive thanks! Btw - I'm hoping to hear back soon. I'm near your DE shop and have an LMM :) I replied to the ad looking for a test mule for the trans cooler.
What's the name for the radiator fluid for my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd, turbo diesel 6.6L. ?
Hey Joe Rosales . Looks like the factory recommend Dexcool on these vehicles. Our Mishimoto liquid chill would also be fully compatible :) ://www.mishimoto.com/liquid-chill.html
.
Why would you need a new radiator? My truck never even gets warm..... stock radiator is awesome on my truck.
Some customers tune their trucks for racing or live in warmer climates that require additional cooling.
Plastic tanks tend to crack and fail over time as well.
My lml rad cracked on a 65 degree day. Plastic sucks. Just depends if you are lucky and get a good one. I didnt that's why I am here lol.
mine cracked at 416k miles lol
