Really want different seats but I want them lower also. Those look tall. Also like remote start which I'm guessing will also be a no go with the faults this is going to induce.
They do sit a little tall but perfect probably for anyone 6’ or less. And you are correct, start stop does not work without the weight sensor activated
Thank you for your question. While they are not air ride seats, they are a massive upgrade over the factory seats. My back used to get sore on trail days, but not anymore
What about moving the seat? Reclining and adjusting back to the farthest location? I know you said it was tight fitting but does that stop a taller person from adjusting.
The seat will rub against the B pillar when you recline or adjust the seat back far, but you can definitely still do it. It’s just a snug fit. Thank you for watching 🙌🏼
@@TrailMade I have been looking at these and this seat was my choice too. I have leather in my JL but they just don’t give support like you said. I also looked up seat covers from Katskins and really like them, but support is still an issue and the cost was a little high. I am going to have to beg the wife to let me get these seat before our next trip in November. Thank you for the post too.
Watched it three times and the whole electronics thing makes me question the swap. My problem is my two door JL the seat is stuck against the horn, with no direction on the problem. Wanted to swap but definitely don’t want red lights on at night
I hear ya on that. Any aftermarket seat is going to run into these problems, so it’s definitely up to what the owner is ok with. I have seen people post about installing the weight sensors in aftermarket seats to turn off the CEL, but it’s pretty involved
The yellow plug is your airbag. Are your airbags now disabled with this new seat?
How’s it do with reclining? Seemed to be tight on space.

So these would not give additional support like an air ride seat in a semi truck correct? Would this help some one with a sore back?

Any issues with seat airbag light on

Was there enough width with these seats?

@@TrailMade I’m paying attention, hoping Tazer can make it easier for us. Killer Jeep, and appreciate the info.
Hey! What about the airbags within the seat? Do you get a code when using aftermarket?
Yep, all aftermarket seats will get both CEL for no weight sensors and airbag warning
@@TrailMade What are you doing to correct this?
