And carpal tunnel...such a commonality in the percussion world. I have a serious care routine that I go through. I should make a video on THAT!

I'd be curious to see you try double laterals at that speed at the end. Probably be a good start to warming up to triples at crazy fast tempi!

Do you go to UCLA, or do just have access to the rooms? Also, I'm playing rotation 1 so there's lots of those laterals in there.
No, I don't go to UCLA. Do their practice rooms resemble this studio? And Rotation 1 and 2 are some of my favorite solos of all time. Those laterals in the bridge with the quintuplet over the left hand -- that measure used to drive me insane lol. Hope you're enjoying it!

I’ve done this by cheating and going to the side of the marimba on a low A... and man even then did it blow me away seeing you do that 😂

Never took the time to make it clean like yourself, but I accept this challenge!! Will definitely try this exercise, serious chop builder.
