I tried upgrading ram using a corsair vengeance 16GB and failed, i thought it was faulty ram but exchanged, the same thing happened. Got an A-DATA 32GB and 16GB ram just to try and 32GB worked PERFECTLY. I will return the 16GB and keep the 32GB stick, although it seems like it would be fine to run 16GB in the extra slot for 20GB, more than enough. I made some tests opening gimp, firefox, libre office, edge and barely goes over 10GB.

From what I've seen elsewhere, the fixing gasket and cable are not supplied with the machine but can be bought separately from Asusparts for 20 euro the pair
what model is the heatsink type, because my laptop model m409da has the exact same motherboard as the x415 but my heatsink doesn't have a cooling pipe that leads to the air outlet
Not sure about the hinges except they are quite resistant to moving and vibration but regarding build quality it's quite decent, my only issue is the display itself flexes a lot if you grab it by the corners.

This laptop doesn't even have dedicated graphics and only a 4 core CPU, I do some light gaming on it and rarely reach 100°C (constant 100% CPU and iGPU usage). The cooling seems to work well enough and it's definitely outputting heat as can be felt on the side. Remember the notebook itself only uses 45 Watts total.
I have it for 6months now and its great. before i had lenovo legion 5 so i know what is a good laptop. its very good imo no cooling problems at all. Highly recoment. (Btw i have the x415EA-536T intel i5 16gb ram 1tb ssd(upgrade) intel iris xe gpu).
Why bro i am using i5 10th gen variant for coding and programming haven't seen temps goes even close to 70c. And no hanging issue without ram upgrade i don't y people hate this. May be u got hdd plus i3.
Yeah i boughy a similar laptop one year old, an ASUS X15MA EJ490, and it is the worst laptop i ever had in my life, after one year old of using it, today it breaked, i mean i cant use it anymore, i tried powering on this laptop, didnt work, i tried charging it, didnt work, its just a waste of money!! And only after one year old of using it! ( And i dindnt break it by myself or something else, it breaked itself today, thats why i camed today to this video!! )
