Actually it doesnt matter weither it's a fail or success, what matters most is the way to approach and diagnose a board which personally I'm rreally grateful to you for showing us the proper way. Thank u Sir, it's always a pleasure watching ur videos.
Now I don't feel so bad anymore. My failed attempts is also more than the success attempts. But I love your videos and learn alot from them. Keep up the good work
My failed attempts are more than my successful ones so much i started to feel overwhelm but now i feel a little better knowing that I'm not alone.
Yeessss 4K video. Thx Sorin.
That's Simply fair play and honesty.. Thanks Sorin.
i love your fails, it helps me to let go in to repair all of them , 'you can't fix them all' , ty Sorin
Imagine if the CPU was socketable and easily replaceable 🤯
Imagine if the southbridge wasn't built into the CPU silicon 🤯
Imagine if this entire overpriced laptop/motherboard didn't have to be replaced because a single component failed 🤯
🤯
Intel is ripping everyone off! They are responsible for 99% of unrepairable boards!
Your diagnosis is always accurate and you use the right tools . Sadly is not all PC we can bring back to life
that's what happen if the company or the user itself wants a slim laptop
apple : we cant imagine
Well, if you want a very slim laptop yo need ti sacrifice that for the sake of a smaller size, but you are right, and adding soddim slotd and a normal socket shouldn't have a huge impact in that matter
What a doctor.
Nice video but where did the 1,5 hour long, interesting fault finding videos go? I miss them so much.
You know, i wish i can do it, i hate editing, but, if i check the channel analytics the average view time on any of my video, is about 7 minutes, so there it is
@@electronicsrepairschool i already watched all long videos on your channel. The longer the video, the better. Keep up the good work!
All i ever get is buggered main chips and tvs with panel cofs burnt up. So unlucky. Wasting my time looking at electronics these days. Time to find a new hobby. I'm think flipping cars and houses. More money in that.
Nu toate luptele pot fi câștigate... Pierzi, câștigi... Negustor te numești ❤
Thanks!
Thank you!
For me these fails are no problem, i will sell a new laptop or a new board for the customer.. But a proper diagnose is key.. thanks to sorin.
I think a fail is when you break it more than it was broken. Fixing stuff is like a drug, when I fail to fix it it depresses me.
No, don't be depress, even if you don't fix it, you gain experience and this is more important than fixing that particular device
@@electronicsrepairschool Yes indeed you are right. Gaining expiereince has also value. You are one of my favourite channels. Recreation and learning. Learned that computers are mostly easier to fix than at first glance.
Hi Sorin , like the process ,very clear on diagnosing the fault. As I have said before the EUROPEAN union should insist that all laptops are fitted with sockets for processor and graphics, but thanks for the Video regards Jim
Мне нравится выражение: когда dead- значит можно починить, а когда dead dead, значит точно сдох))
Definitely! :D
Latest videos always starts .... "We have a niiiceee laptop" 😂
Proper nice. Yeah? 😆
A few failed repairs make all the other successful repairs even better. 😀👍
Sometimes you learn more when you fail, thank you
i inspired by your work mate!
Its not a fail for me you already know what is the problem the CPU is dead you just need to have BGA machine that we have here in PH. You can actually reball the CPU and resolve the issue. If the reball process will not resolve you need to replace the CPU with newer one with BGA machine. If you have the machine tool and other equipment any laptop you can repair. by the way good job. Thanks for the video.
And after the cost of tools and replacement parts, the repair would not be worth it and no one would want to have their laptops repaired. They'd simply buy a new one.
I would recommend using the thermal camera to tell if the components are get to hot to fast from voltage injection. I’m noob but seems smarter. The components look like they get hot really fast when you look at it that’s too aggressive to me when you can lower voltage and wait 10 secs more.
Your failure list will be higher, computers coming to you usually come after someone has tried the easy fix!
Hello so we are back! and this time we have a nice laptop 😄
10th gen intel core i7 and nvidia graphics 🤣
very good
Hi Sorin, I had a question who do you display your power supply and Multi-meter on the the computer screen can you make a video about it. I'm also buying you coffee for making so many helpful videos.
I say that statistic (failed collection) says much about the quality of these products nowadays
thanks for your videos. I think there is a reason why they used to separate cpu and chipset.
Sorin: Never seen in a laptop 3 shorted power rails...
Asus: :D
Dear Sorin, I'm a bit disappointed. This time while i was watching and learning, also putting my daughter to sleep, she did not went to sleep...she was like "what? No fix? What?". We are together very sad about this with you. Together we suggest to buy chips from china 😂😂😂
Thanks for the video, I see a mistake, we should not put the thermal paste on the PCH, cause the CPU will transmit heat to the PCH.
but isn't the PCH itself generate heat? no?
@@maklogetrich2378 it not getting very hot, just a little warm, need only a heat sink.
very good job
The motherboard companies now make mostly if not all embedded cpu where they use to be the sockets and change the CPU out for another CPU - not anymore
My first notebook have socket, I even “upgrade” this PC little bit when change CPU to more powerful with 2 cores. No bios manipulation needed, just disassemble bottom case and remove heat tubes. Now sometimes we can,t upgrade RAM or SSD everything just soldered, so sad :(
Cant you solder in another cpu
Sorin , what is the root cause of PCH dead? Generally it was due to shorted mosfet etc.. How is that?
You didn't fail its the cpu who fail 😄
Commander plz start sharing laptops schematics how to follow them from A to Z plz
Come to Beşiktaş...Sorin...
i like You so much! supersymphatic!
Not the CPU that is defect but THE CHIPSET.
You could replace cpu from donor board
Go and change the cpu :) I found some good seller of used cpu in china and like that I can save more laptop :) and you can save more too if the customer pay ;)
Why everytime when cpu goes bad or chipset is done? You cannot just switch the cpu from the spare board?
where have all the laptop screws gone
At least you work fast. I've watched vids over 1hr with the guy faffing about, only to see a fail - ouch -, ie, if it's a fail, edit the vid to the main points.
is that intel 11th gen? what is causing PCH dead? thank you master
Sorin which xintai camera is better HTI-301 like gun or HTI-301 for mobile phone on USB-C? Why you now using this like gun?
The quality is the same, but i'm not a android user
@@electronicsrepairschool Thanks for answer, i love to watch your videos
It’s is time to short something and make it work😂
Why not removable processor
dead is good, dead dead is bad
CPU Reball ???
Can't it be fixed by swapping components from the same donor motherboard? Asus must have had many laying around in their e trash can. :)
👍👍👌👌
can someone kindly make me have a visual diffrence between the cpu,gpu and the pch,,,,honestly i always guess which makes my work more hard,,,thanks for the video
In this case the same chip contains all of them, cpu, gpu and pch.
Why this happen?
this is the third time i see a burned chipset integrated with cpu. something wrong in this technology
Noice
Hello🤝👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋👋
Some hot glue will fix is all 😄
