This command will query your computer's memory subsystem and display the maximum capacity of RAM in kilobytes."
Performed the RAM and SSD upgrade yesterday. The included 128GB SSD on mine is an extremely poorly spec'd drive, the read speed is barely okay but the write speed is abysmal. The SSD replacement not entirely straightforward, bit of an arm wrestle but I got there. Both the added 8GB RAM and 1TB SSD immediately seen in the BIOS when rebooted, but the Win11 installation USB not picked up in the USB slot I selected. Swapped USB into a different slot and BIOS could then see it. So then started the Win11 install but new SSD was not seen by the Win11 install despite being clearly present in the BIOS. So had to go to the Intel site and download the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver. Driver then unzipped, put in a folder on the Win11 install USB and then I pointed Win11 there during install and allowed Win11 to load the driver (but had to uncheck the "Hide incompatible drivers" box -go figure). 1TB drive then seen by Win11 install and install proceeded without a hitch. Hope this helps somebody 🙂

One ram only can upgrade?
Hello! I have the Asus F414EA-UB51, which already comes with 8GB of RAM and an Intel Core i5-1135G7. The thing is that I don't know if those 8GB are the limit of RAM that the Laptop can have or if it can be increased more. I don't know what the RAM limit is for this laptop.

You can put more 8GB ram 3200mhz, CL22, 260pin, 1.2v

Hey, im planning upgrade ram to 12gb by adding another 8gb. The question is can it work dual channel 4+8 ?
Dual channel works best if both sides of it are equal, but you get some benefit doing it that way still.
I did excatly like 4+8. They Said that first 8 gb working dual channel, 4 gb is working single channel
Excellent . Thank you .
Also , would it be possible to upgrade the processor ?
Thank You Great Stuff
sir i wanna ask u about upgrading ram. does it automatically cancel the warranty? t.i.a
btw my laptop has the same type as in ur video (x415ea)
There was no warranty seal broken during the upgrade process, but in the event of a claim you'd have to return the system to its original configuration.
If you damage anything in the process this may void the warranty as well.
thanks for ur explanation dude. ive one more thing to ask.
if my laptop has a 4gb ram onboard, can i add a 8gb ram on the other slot?

inserting 16gigs of ddr4 3200 of RAM is compatible with its core i3 model?
Yeah
@@BrueComputingthe i3 laptop would then read 20GB of DDR4 RAM or will it only read as 16 GB RAM?
20GB.
@@BrueComputing oh i see...it's good if it's like that, i am confused with the one written in ASUS site since it is different than the written in the intel site
@@howenchua did you upgrade and did the 20gb work?
DDR3 or DDR4?
DDR4
A clean windows... That's a contradiction. On such underpowered machines just install Linux (not a candy cane variant like Mint or ?Buntu, but a true Slackware, preferably 32 bit) to have this machine fly by like a Vickers Valiant.
My main machine is a Dell Latitude E5570 with a core i3 6001 CPU with a WD black HDD and it is so darned fast...
