Even during Dhoni's stint, Raina, Yuvi Irfan,yusuf could bowl well... But now a days such speciality is missing, so we need 5 bowler and 1 all-rounder

I am not a cricketer, but Sourav was a very favourite cricketer for me; because, after Pataudi I did not find any Indian Captain working for all round improvement of the team. However, he was the Captain, who had much more aggressiveness than the previous Captains of India. He changed the definition of the Indian Cricket Team. Now, he is acclaimed by all & sundry.
Saurav Ganguly's captaincy era earned self respect from world over. Before, every team tried bullying... But Saurav proved his mettle. Thank you Saurav for your services to Indian Cricket. About Rehan ji, you narrated it with beautifully. God bless.

When you get an overdose of how brilliant the legend MSD is, and then you realise dada was tactically brilliant, mindset brilliant, thinking wise brilliant captain and he indeed changed the attitude of ICT from being losers to being in the face of opposition. He took the captaincy after match fixing scandal rocked ICT aswell as the world. And the best batsman who wouldn't captain but SRT indeed made the wisest decision to give up captaincy.
Dada truly was shrewd, played mind games at its best. No doubt MSD is legend in his own rights but truly as captain he changed the face of ICT, Kohli might break every captaincy records but will always be Dada = Kapil > MSD > Azhar and then the rest.
Kapil is rated equally not just for WC but the way he tackled wi even after having 183 with a wi deadly bowling, and brilliant batting line up, one could call India minnows in 1983. And then also his 175 Vs Zim after 17/5.
The two TEST best captain knocks are dada's 144 in Brisbane and MSDs 224 Vs AUS both indeed made a statement to Aussies that we are not here to make up numbers, we are here to dethrone Aussies...
MSD was one who learnt how to calm the storm and take battle to end and then win it with steely nerves, that's something brilliant when you consider the intense battle and how easy it is to overthink and how cool a captain could really be to win something from impossible position..
When it comes to captaincy I don't think anyone comes close to Dada. Absolute genius, listen to him while commentary and one would realise his mastery over the game.
