I decided to film a weeks worth of income from my worst performing self serve car wash. Everyone wants to show the success and huge income generating businesses but I wanted to share the self serve car wash that I own which performs the worst. So watch the entire video to see just how much money my worst performing car wash makes.
After working for my Uncle for 2 years at he's car washes I really wanted my own and I came across this car wash. It was completely shutdown for many years so I approached the owner of the land and made a deal with him.
It took me 6 weeks to bring it back to life and open it and now the customers are starting to pour in. Not to mention I opened it during winter so I am yet. to see its full potential but here's a small taste of how its going so far!

You could save about $1700 in soap if you switched to a powered soap and mixed it yourself, works just as good. The fast lube I worked at had an automatic car wash and we was using luster shield, premixed soap. And the boss switched to the powder because it was about $1700 cheaper. It don’t take long to mix and never had a complaint on it

You should switch to the ver-tech system for your chemicals in your back room makes it a lot cleaner and organized also way cheaper on the chemicals and you don’t gotta move around the heavy drums of chemicals we just made the switch at work from the drums to vertech makes it so much easier

Never thought about it. Someone might spend $2 a wash, someone might spend $10 a wash so I just go by the money count every week

Yeah, $4000 per week, but what about your net income after you pay your weekly maintenance, supplies, and maybe a help? You probably won't net more than $2500, if not less!
Yes. Less than that. 2k net in ya pocket per week is not much but it’s a start. It’s when you scales to 4,5,6 car washes it adds up to an amazing financial position.
Wouldn't it make perfect sense to put solar panels on top of the car wash roofs? Isn't electricity around 30ct/kWh in Cali? That would give you basically free electricity in that weather. Love your videos as always
At around $6k a year for electricity, it would be paid of in a very very short time too, just saying.
Also, why no Monex systems installed?
Definitely something to look into. Electricity is expensive.
Shared car wash with stew in a very bad area so not too much motivation to get card terminals in.
