Fun Fact: Dull blades do hurt worst cause instead of slicing through they actually rip through kind of like a paper cut. So it doesn't feel smooth it feels like tearing.

The saying is “a dull knife is a dangerous knife” something like that meaning it takes more force to use a dull knife leading to possibly deeper wounds if cut.. where a sharp knife you don’t need any force and the chance of cutting yourself (while being used correctly) is slim to none..
No it’s actually just in terms of cooking. A full knife means you have to put more force/leverage or like have to go back and forth to cut food which increases your chances of cutting yourself. A sharp knife on the other hand cuts easily. Also a dull knife has the risk of slipping on say a tomato since it requires more force and it can cut you

I love the weapon vids!
Just got to this and first thing, Matt that is not a steak knife. It is a paring knife. Second as some have said, dull a knife is worse. Reason is a sharp knife will leave a clean edge cut (easier to stop bleeding). A dull cut as an example is like a zipper cut. Because the edges will not line up clean it is harder to stop bleeding.

With a dull knife you use more pressure and that's when accidents can happen with a sharp knife it's no pressure no accidents from slipping or so on.

He means when you use a lot of pressure from a dull knife and the knife slips, all of the pressure you used on the knife is going to cause you to loose control which is then the reason why you hurt yourself. With a sharp knife, you don’t have to use a lot of pressure cutting and you are in more control.
A sharp knife gives you a clean cut but, a dull knife kind of does more of a rip or tear of whatever you are trying to cut.

Hilarious episode! I'm sure others have said the same, but sharp knives are safer in the kitchen because you use less force cutting things than a dull knife.
The gold knife with the belt clip I actually have. I used it as a summer camp staff member. It has a saw on it which I like. The blade length limit at camp was 3 inches which is the length of that blade. So I named it Excalibur, because it is more powerful than it looks. A lot of other staff members thought the blade was over 3 inches.
