Brilliant trip report! There seemed to be many wide-bodies used for domestic flights in China. The service was great for a domestic flight. I wonder if economy class have touch screen remote controls like business class.
Thanks for the comment! Many wide-bodies are use for domestic flight since the demand for long haul flights are low right now. Will check out their economy class next time haha
yeah economy class for China eastern's A359 does come with touchscreen and romote controls, its just the size of the screen is larger for business class
Was the Wifi connection stable? I tried to use China Eastern Airlines Wifi on the HND-SHA route as well, but it didn't move to the next page at all. It seemed that even economy class passengers could use it for free.
Well done trip report. At the front row seat 1 that's the business class suites section others call it first class. Therefore making it 4F 36J 24W Y216. When it comes to A350s economy class MU didn't go PR 3-4-3 Fiesta class A35K. If they did then their Skyteam elite plus Eastern Miles KE Morning Calm club would simply avoid MU A359s
@adamli8774 it is and since you are from Hong Kong CX B-LXx A35Ks > PR RP-C3509 and upwards. If you want to try that your best option is booking something like this New York JFK to Hong Kong via Manila. Manila to Hong Kong has to be on CX in order to avoid the Philippine Airlines (🇭🇰🇹🇼 spelling 菲律賓航空) cramped seat and bad food
@@EpicThe112 I flew on CX A359 economy B-LRI I think from Hk to Narita. The seat wasn't too bad and I would definitely avoid 3-4-3, even on 777s. I think the best aircraft to fly in economy is A330 and 767 :)
@adamli8774 thank you for telling me about that at least it isn't as Cramped as PR RP-C3501-RP-C3508 what should be visible in Hong Kong as the daily Philippine Airlines PR301 313 307 from MNL. My mother has a picture of its Sistership B-LRQ Back in November 2022 A35Ks B-LXN CX143 HKG-PER B-LXL 13 December 2022 CX840 HKG-JFK. In general when flying Hong Kong to MNL in both directions Take CX > PR. Be aware there are 3-3-3 A330-343Es in Philippine Airlines Fleet making them lose out to CX B-HLx B-LBx B-LAx former KA B-HYx B-HWx fleets.
