Just seen this... Feedback - should we invite some other youtube electricians along for a race? CJR electrical, nick Bundy, John Ward, DSS electrical, Thomas Nagy - Super idea. My money's on Nick to win and JW to come 5th, he'll have more OCD than Joe!!
Hey Gaz, I mounted some of them in less time after I do it with more as one. Normally do you mounted two at one power line (one at both side). But do you do it right and put the savety cap correctry in as first. With ferrulls and 2.5 qmm cable it is more fun. 😉 But: Nobody do this dayly 100 times. So it is the "faster time - less time waste" not a real argument - the other product is only 5x more expensive if you buy it. For most camping things or ambulance vehicle this connector is too big for the plug socket. That is the true. 😢 The left con have IP 44 and the right con have IP 65/66. This the true difference of both! 😀
Having said that I could have taken the plug apart, put it back together again and still won, maybe a couple of times over. Good shout though, dreading the fine! 😬
Oh yes! The newer PCE "Shark series" with the compression gland sealing tightened by screwing on the end cap is super. And the housing opened and assembled by twist locking of the cover to the front, is quick. It might be easier for water to creep in through the seam in the circumference, than on plugs where the outer housing is one single piece.
Gaz is the winner as Joe is still too young to understand that women like it nice slow and easy. (The only problem with getting older is that you need a tea break every one to every one and a half hours, in the old days (OK 30+ years a go I only needed a break every four and a half hours lol)!
@@efixxOk, if i decide to buy an old decommissioned submarine as my dream retirement home and need outside sockets for my greenhouse at the bottom of the North Sea, Palazzoli fits the bill 😜 Joking aside, anything that is easier to terminate, looks sexier, could outlive the competition and just does the job is a no brainer despite the extra cost.

Joe cheated! He put the rest of the socket on the other side of the cable after he wired it. You would've won Gaz!
Good point! - we’ll think of a suitable fine!
Having said that I could have taken the plug apart, put it back together again and still won, maybe a couple of times over. Good shout though, dreading the fine! 😬
Joe made a big mistake in the end, If the end was terminated he was not able to put on the back on the plug.
Garry wins by perfection !
YES YES YES 😍 (Gaz)
Pfft, if I needed to put it on first I would have done! 😂 Joe
PCE's Shark TT (TurboTerminal) are even quicker to assemble than your Lewden..
Sounds good - can you send a link?

They also seem far more reasonably priced, at only £4 a shot for a "013-3TT" from CPC

Great comment I will pass it on to Gaz 👍
Phew! That was close - NOT 😊 lol As an aside, you'll find the Palazolli is 10 times the price of a cheapo, still worth it???
It’s all down to the application - the new XCEE range goes up to IP69 rating.
