Hi Sam. Nice review. We support the Mammotion products and others here in Australia. If any of your viewers have any question on this product I am happy to provide advice.
The most important thing to consider with these robots is the location of the RTK reference antenna. Also all 4 models including the 10,000m2 model are available in Australia now.
Keep up your good work, I watch your videos frequently.

I have a Lubs 2. As you say, it's amazing. Had it about 6 months. The is our first robot that is doing a job for me. Saves me about 3 hours per week. I can't wait for Optimus.
Keep up the great work Sam.

I mowed a one-acre lawn for 9 years with a robot lawnmower. It basically zigzagged back and forth in a wired perimeter like an electric dog fence, and it had a rubber bumper to detect the 11 trees and the exposed sewer access cover in my yard. The steepest area of the yard (50%) it could only be done by using its manual controller. I got sick of doing this and graveled this area. It took 4 hours for the front yard loop and 4 hours for the back loop. The lead acid battery charge lasted 4 hours and I charged it in the garage overnight. It needed to be replaced ever 2 years due to my deep cycling. I resharpened the 3 blades with a scissors sharpener every year. Anything it missed I trimmed with an electric weedwhacker whose battery was still going strong after all those years. The major problem that I had was wet grass clogging the blade housing and spending much time and effort scraping it out from there. The solution to this was to feel the grass and if wet I would wait until it felt dry. Never had to clean the housing again.

This can teach self parking v2g EVs to selfplug-in. Happy days.
Most vehicles are parked 23hrs every day.
EVs battery is perfect for long times between charging or oversized for daily parking.
Daily parking is perfect, FREE massive electricity storage.

I mow about 5 acres and a walking path that is roughly 1200 meters long. I need something that has fairly large wheels to handle field like terrain and a bag for occasionally picking up the leaves. So far, I have yet to see anything that looks promising. I might just have to wait for Optimus!

I'm going on 3 years with my Lubas (v1). I love them, but there is one major flaw; servicability. I am an engineer, and I can work on anything, but that's what is required to own and operate these long-term. Mammotion needs to redesign Luba top to bottom. Every component should be replaceable toolessly. Until then, keep your old mower as a backup when something breaks. Mammotion has a 2 year warranty, and they honor it, but it takes weeks or months. Additionally, shipping is expensive!
Fantastic product for advanced tech nurds, but not for the masses! I hope they redesign Luba soon.

Rewild your yard, mate. Plant native plants & trees, then let nature do its thing. It’s less work & the local creatures that visit will be so otherworldly you’ll want to make a documentary. Love the robot though, you could always save a small a patch.

Or for the same price, $2900 us, you can pay someone to cut your lawn for 3 years. By then, that battery is probably done.
I'm waiting on gen 2 because I do like the idea but think it's overpriced.

Soon much of the planet will have a humanoid robot that mows the lawn, tends to the food garden, paints the house, cleans the house, washes clothes, prepares meals, feeds the pets, that can make products at home that can be sold for an income, etc, etc, etc.
