@@ShdonnaBolden if your hook is too large or too small for the yarn you’re using then you’ll have to try out different hooks until it feels right to you. Once you’ve adjusted the size of hook then it should be easier 🥰

Hello, wow thank you for explaining this. This is my first time trying amigurumi. I have just finished row 22 and you advise to stuff the head. My head is inside out where as yours isn't. Unsure where I went wrong :(

In the pinned comment there are timestamps, one is for supplies, it’ll take you right to that spot in the video. But I’m using a 4mm hook but you can use anywhere from a 3.5 to a 4.25 with a medium worsted weight yarn. Thanks for asking 😊

@@GodaSarakauskaite-i9u the loop is hard for anyone who hasn’t done it before, like any new craft, it takes practice and patience. If you’re unfamiliar with amigurumi, most of them require a loop to start a section. The “beginner friendly” in my title refers to the time I spend walking a beginner through each row of the pattern, showing each new step as slowly and clearly as I can.

@@Orianaisthequeen that’s why I went over it so slowly. That’s how a beginner learns, by watching and then trying it out themselves. A video can be paused and rewound as many times as needed to learn.
@@Orianaisthequeen it’s difficult for anyone who’s never done it before. I had a super hard time with the ring myself but I kept trying until I got it. I would suggest searching “magic ring crochet” or “adjustable ring crochet” in the RUclips search bar and sort through those. Someone else’s tutorial might resonate with you better. We all have a different style of teaching and style of learning so it might just be my method of teaching doesn’t work for you and that’s totally okay, keep searching. You got this, and you’ll be so happy you kept trying. Once you learn it, it gets easier and easier. Wishing you all the best and happy crocheting!

You’ve increased more than usual. What you can do is decrease instead of increasing to get back to the right stitches. I usually do that

In the pinned comment there are timestamps, one is for supplies, it’ll take you right to that spot in the video. But I’m using a 4mm hook but you can use anywhere from a 3.5 to a 4.25 with a medium worsted weight yarn. Thanks for asking 😊

@@SlytherinSoulx sorry to hear that. Video speed can be adjusted by clicking on the gear symbol, you can either slow down or speed up the speed of the video. I’m assuming by end you meant the assembly section. I did include all parts of assembly so would love to get more feedback on which part of that section felt rushed 🥰

@@GodaSarakauskaite-i9u the loop is hard for anyone who hasn’t done it before, like any new craft, it takes practice and patience. If you’re unfamiliar with amigurumi, most of them require a loop to start a section. The “beginner friendly” in my title refers to the time I spend walking a beginner through each row of the pattern, showing each new step as slowly and clearly as I can.

@@Orianaisthequeen that’s why I went over it so slowly. That’s how a beginner learns, by watching and then trying it out themselves. A video can be paused and rewound as many times as needed to learn.

@@Orianaisthequeen it’s difficult for anyone who’s never done it before. I had a super hard time with the ring myself but I kept trying until I got it. I would suggest searching “magic ring crochet” or “adjustable ring crochet” in the RUclips search bar and sort through those. Someone else’s tutorial might resonate with you better. We all have a different style of teaching and style of learning so it might just be my method of teaching doesn’t work for you and that’s totally okay, keep searching. You got this, and you’ll be so happy you kept trying. Once you learn it, it gets easier and easier. Wishing you all the best and happy crocheting!
