    Thank you so much for this video. I learnt to crochet after failed attempts from a RUclipsr. I've had to go back to basics again. But this video really clear where I was trying to guess. I'm trying to learn to crochet persona teddy scraping up best I can for Xmas stocking. More realistic now my stitches are much more tidier. Definitely give this cute teddy a go afterwards. Appreciate you referring to instructions as well 🙏 💎

Just plain me who happens to coordinate random stuff and randomly pick up skills. Yes it's a lot harder than it looks. Patience and perseverance eh. Got further with crochet than knitting needles. Hi Sharon, this is my first time seeing your videos and will have to go check all the others. I started making a bear from another pattern and go so frustrated with it - did not like the way it was coming out so I set it aside. Started looking for a tutorial on RUclips and came across your video. Sat down to watch it and paused it to grab a hook and some yarn. I am so pleased with how it is working up.....can't wait to go to Part 2 and finish it up. Thank you for making a beginner friendly pattern and talking us through it. 💕 Love it!

    Hello, wow thank you for explaining this. This is my first time trying amigurumi. I have just finished row 22 and you advise to stuff the head. My head is inside out where as yours isn't. Unsure where I went wrong :(

      You’ve increased more than usual. What you can do is decrease instead of increasing to get back to the right stitches. I usually do that

    Just wondering what mm hook are you using? X

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  7 месяцев назад +2

      In the pinned comment there are timestamps, one is for supplies, it’ll take you right to that spot in the video. But I’m using a 4mm hook but you can use anywhere from a 3.5 to a 4.25 with a medium worsted weight yarn. Thanks for asking 😊

      @@SlytherinSoulx sorry to hear that. Video speed can be adjusted by clicking on the gear symbol, you can either slow down or speed up the speed of the video. This DID NOT work out for me the loop is too hard to do for a beginner, for me its a no.

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  5 дней назад

      @@GodaSarakauskaite-i9u the loop is hard for anyone who hasn’t done it before, like any new craft, it takes practice and patience. If you’re unfamiliar with amigurumi, most of them require a loop to start a section. The “beginner friendly” in my title refers to the time I spend walking a beginner through each row of the pattern, showing each new step as slowly and clearly as I can.

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  5 месяцев назад +20

      @@Orianaisthequeen that’s why I went over it so slowly. That’s how a beginner learns, by watching and then trying it out themselves. A video can be paused and rewound as many times as needed to learn.

      @@SharonOjalasorry its just that the slip not magic ring into the single crochet is very difficult for me do you have any tips?

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  5 месяцев назад +5

      @@Orianaisthequeen it’s difficult for anyone who’s never done it before. I had a super hard time with the ring myself but I kept trying until I got it. I would suggest searching “magic ring crochet” or “adjustable ring crochet” in the RUclips search bar and sort through those. Someone else’s tutorial might resonate with you better. We all have a different style of teaching and style of learning so it might just be my method of teaching doesn’t work for you and that’s totally okay, keep searching. You got this, and you’ll be so happy you kept trying. Once you learn it, it gets easier and easier. Wishing you all the best and happy crocheting!
