I agree with Cody why does every segment have to end in a brawl why couldn’t they do a normal weigh in
I agree, in theory.
Not everything has to end in a shmoz. But when most things on the show do, and the one thing you expect to, and normally does, doesn't... Yeah.
Now that's on "Booker of the Year" and Head Mark in Charge, Tony Kahn. Who needs to learn about the law of diminishing returns.

Guy has a lot of potential and after that angle with Cody, he just went away. I never got AEW booking and this is an example
In my opinion he wasnt ready. His feud with cody didnt work out and the Fans even turned on cody. There are other guys tony khan needs to Focus more on, miro, Ethan Page, malakai, hobbs, starks and many more. Ogogo just isnt ready if you ask me

He could have knocked over the broken scale and blamed big show for conspiring or some wrestling shit. Then just cut a promo and leave instead of all that awkward stuff
hindsight is 20/20. Not everyone can improv that stuff and make it look good - especially their first time there. That said.. yea, maybe one of the vets could have made a quick decision and passed it on. Or maybe he could have just taken a risk and done something off script if he felt it was going bad (not sure if someone told the boys in the infamous cage to just squeeze through, but they did it and it was better than nothing).
So cody tried to sabotage aew later on with stupid programs like this.

So you have the weigh in you think one of you should knock the other one out at the weigh in.... so why do I need to see the match? If you knock Cody out with a punch at the weigh in why do I then want to watch? That's the problem with almost all the guys now. They've watched wrestling so they know how it works. He'll why don't I watch a quadruple bypass then I'll be a heart surgeon cause ill know how it works
