- We recently did a full review of the Chevrolet Silverado ZR2! The ZR2 is a rugged Off-Road Truck with a touch of luxury! Here are some cool shots of when we sent the ZR2 into some light offroad with great mud! That thing is a beast and can take way more!
Here are some of the highlights of the Silverado ZR2:
- Standard 6.2L V8 engine, developing 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission
- First use on a Silverado of Multimatic's 40mm DSSV shocks
- Electronically controlled front and rear differentials lockers
-Chassis and suspension components specifically designed for off-road riding, including a Terrain mode that enables one-pedal ultra-low-speed riding
- Specific 33" all-terrain MT tires
- Exclusive set of skid plates
- New high-clearance steel front bumper designed for off-roading, durability and good clearance, which offers an improved approach angle of 31.8°, superior to other off-road models of the Silverado.

This is not a tough course, but this was fun to see what the Silverado ZR2 can do! ( and to see that it can take WAY more! )

The ZR2 is a pretty great all-around truck.
Amazing indeed but for a price ;)
It’s obviously made for the buyers to lift the truck and give it beefy tires they come with normal height and tires to keep production simple and also for most people who will buy it for looks or city queens
How do you go through mud like that and not get any on the vehicle ? The day after I wash mine it’s like dirt rains down on it while I sleep lol
What is actual road tested 0-60 time?
People say it is 7.7seconds while chevrrlot says 5.5deconds, which is true

Very nice, but CAD $100K with taxes. Unless you need a full size truck, get an even better off-road capability (due to narrower body and a smaller turning radius) with a $65K Colorado ZR2.

@@CarQuestion I just bought 2 wheel drive with the 3.0 Duramax ....It was 53 thousand before everything & almost 61K out the door , with 30 thousand cash down my payments are 550 a month.....I'm 63 & hopping this truck last until I am too old to drive..... Great video
