Good stories and reading. Far better than I could do. Respectfully, as a listener, the only reason I haven’t subscribed is the chronic upspeak of the narrator. However I do try to listen anyway from time to time.
Same here. I'm not always in the mood to listen to these stories for the same reason. But stories read a year ago actually do not have these pronounced intonations.
One of my favourites. Love Shirley Jackson. Her prose is so smooth and elegant, which makes the eventual unpleasantness of the subject all the more shocking.
