This guy is very intelligent. Listening to him, he makes a hell of a lot of sense and his analysis of factors about how he became what he became shows a deep understanding of human nature. Excellent.
You have no idea 🤷♂️ of the level of intelligence Johnny boy has 🏴told by himself to me about the debates they used to sit in ( hand picked few cons ) with all types of intelligence and the likes of ex judges , top Governors etc on subjects like Prison Reform 😢🙏nothing but the highest of respect ✊ for him and his family 🏴💙✊GTC
this interview is on a par with the Blink one. I was so engrossed with Blink and im the same with Johnnyboy. These guys are so worthy of telling us now. Im 64 and i like to hear the tales from inside. We need to respect their dignity and say thanks for telling us
This is the fourth time I've listened to this interview. Johnny is fascinating. Takes a special guy to get through all that. First class yet again James pal.
Just working through these podcasts that stand out for me watched a shed load, great guests riveting watching, just watched johnny adair, wraith, sayers to mention a few, blink was a good one funny as, keep up the good work James.
James E.,love what you do.You let your guests speak, unlike a lot of shows, you don't interupt and make it all about about yourself, you just let your tell their story.Cracking show, keep up the great work, thank you.
Nothing genuine about a thief a genuine man is someone that gets up works a job every day in Scotland rain hail or shine every day to feed there families that’s a real man a genuine man not this eejit parasite
Another cracking interview. Top work James. I mind following Joe's story as much as you could back then. It was so obvious they'd been fitted up. Johnny is some character.
John Dow who me, James or Johnny? 😂 thanks anyway 😘 I enjoyed James’ podcasts & like hearing the stories. Like I enjoy louis Theroux docs with lifers; doesn’t mean I agree with what the interviewees have done
Read his book in Kilmarnock prison in 2010 was an old con who mentioned the book to me “the bird that never flew” great read and respect to you pal. FTS
Intriguing Interview, you have a gift of putting people at ease James, allowing them to open right up. Jimmy Boyle has been pretty elusive these days. It would be great to hear what he's been up to over the last couple of decades if you could get him on.
Respect from an ex con to another. You gave wee Joe my pal a Tower of strength to over come his inhumane Conviction, over ruled by the way, love and Peace, Taz ...
Cah beleive am watching this on you tube av never knew anyone on you tube in person but a do know johnny steel😁hope your well johnny and the bairns. Love your pod casts james 👍xxx
Amazing podcast again @james.English and @giro, production video's where Johnny and slasher Gallagher (GOVERNOR) etc give you a insight into how much this guy went through an amazing guy,, please give these videos on RUclips a watch and it'll open your eyes to the brutality he went through ✊
Mate in the work just put me on to these today, going to be a long weekend! Watched the blink one now I'm hooked! Like the way this guy is speaking very clear and concise and not trying to sound like a hard man. Could probably have been a good business man had he had the right guidance.
Mindblown. He lived in the Scottish borders for a while. His daughters were lovely, one was in same class as mine. Had no clue about his previous life, just a single dad who was doing a grand job with his daughters
anybody know how johnny escaped fae barlinnie ,i mean how did they get down the rope ,i know the rest, heard him say he absailed but how cause that one hell of a height ,must be a brave man
Great character Johnny boy Steele quite interesting documentary I liked the bit when he was telling us about breaking his brother joe Steele out of saughton prison in Edinburgh and breaking him into barlinie prison Glasgow just so comical the reason he missed his brother joe from the breakout from Edinburgh saughton prison was because the prison wardens club had been broken into and when the police cars sirens were going off one of his associates thought the police were on to them so he had to lie low for cover until the police had gone only to find further down the road he picked up a few of escaped prisoners and ended up dropping them of in and around Edinburgh only to find out joe had a 20 min start but Johnny boy Steele eventually caught up with his brother Joseph who was wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of the 6 members of the Doyle family along with tommy Campbell knowing as the ice cream wars joe was broke out of prison by his brother to protest his innocence that’s when he went down to Buckingham palace and supper glued his self to the palace gates hard life to to do 16 years in prison for something you are innocent of has to be hard time for any man from mr Colin Corcoran high street royal mile Edinburgh 👍🏻🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴👍🏻
Brilliant, some characters in Glasgow, unconscious comedians, it's a city like no other, i would say Liverpool is the nearest to being like Glasgow, its England's Glasgow!
The boyle family attack didnt happen in Cranhill. It happened in Ruchazie Elibank Street. I grew up around the corner from it on Gartcraig rd Ruchazie.
What a fine fellow!! When these guys with experience & wisdom talk, you've got to be quiet and just listen and they,l regale you with tales forever. He,s suffered hell on earth and it's great to see him have freedom. If the younger dood podcasts can match the honesty and truth of Jonnie it will be good listening. Chuck all the fairy tales and propaganda to suit their egos down the pan. Great series your doing all round James so well done.
Read his book guys 🥇👍 the guy was tough as nails back in the day when prison was no doubt tougher, so lots of respect ✊ to him, a love these podcasts 🏴 🧨dynamite, can’t 🛑 watching them. 🧐
Lay back in bed with the plugs in listening. Seemed like 20 mins or so. 2.30 now and my neighbours next door must think am off my nut for all the laughing. That was really good James and Johnny. What a film right enough.
I love that man's laugh in the red shirt he sounds just like my brother-in-law .I call it an infectious laugh when u hear them makes ya want to laugh with them
This guy is very intelligent. Listening to him, he makes a hell of a lot of sense and his analysis of factors about how he became what he became shows a deep understanding of human nature. Excellent.
canny stop rioting canny stop escaping,, get me a couple of blades Joe and a hacksaw show these fukers a deep understanding of human nature lol
Alot of guys who escape more than a fluke ken? have a very high IQ to see opportunity when it arises
