Someone was cutting onions at the end there. I promise.
Bob Ross was such a generous and genuine person.
Michael Mee He really was. Truly an amazing man. Subscribe for more! Thanks for watching.

+Ml PSH How did you manage to make a 6 months old comment on a video that was uploaded yesterday? O.o
It's a Time Traveler!
Was this video unlisted?Or was it private for 7 months?
+FalloutPro21 it was unlisted most likely. there was a huge playlist full of these videos for a long time that I guess they're only recently making public.
Anybody else fall asleep to Bob Ross episodes? He's so relaxing to watch :)
You should look up asmr 😊
+Sukhjit Shergill I watch Bob Ross videos when I can't sleep. Puts me to sleep every time.
+Cimorelli Fam Bob Ross is the king of ASMR. I hear all these other people whispering to induce ASMR but their lips smack and you can hear their mouth crackle so that it breaks the ASMR experience. Bob just has the calm voice that it's enough to put one to sleep.
+Sukhjit Shergill Same here, have done for years now. It's not because it's boring it's because his voice is so soothing :)
sotrue
That bit at the end there, damn he makes me feel like I'm the most important person in the world. Thank YOU Bob Ross!
how did you post your comment 4 months ago?
Because 4 months ago I watched this video and commented.
+FalloutPro21 yooo holy shit
so confused this was uploaded like 3 days ago
Nope these have been up for months and months. Might have been taken down and re-uped after all this bobross twitch stuff.
"They sorta get upset if I go over 30 minutes here and yell at me a lot so.."
Omg you beautiful beautiful man, you are precious🥺
It's remarkable how a person's legacy can linger in time for so long to the point where people who were not even born while The Joy of Painting was airing know his work and admire him so much. I'm 21 years old and I love Bob and what he did. Watching him gives me a strange feeling of nostalgia I dunno why, but it is nice. Thanks for uploading these videos!
+Rock N ASMR It's the formula, they did a great job keeping it simple & somewhat timeless (black background, generic attire, calming intro music, no dated references to that era's pop culture). The show has been around for years but I had absolutely no clue he died in 1995 (and that the last episode aired in '94). As a teenager in the early 2000s, I used to think he was still alive.
Same here man I'm only 16 and he inspires me to paint
I'm 11 and I feel like he is a lost relative
AndyParkerASMR im 12 and listening to his voice while working makes me motivated to make art
I'm one of that guy, I binge watch his series although I don't paint. His video calms me down.
This channel is a gift to the world.
I'm sure Bob Ross would be proud to see that people still love and praise him not only for his artwork but for his generous character and loving attitude.
Bob as a wise and optimistic man who may not be remembered forever but he will influence the people who have encountered his work.
+Scum of internet Very well stated and thank you for watching. Please subscribe and share bit.ly/BobRossSubscribe
+Bob Ross I will
this guy. this guy right here has just made me a happy little man...
and then a sad little man when I found out that he died over 20 years ago.
you're now a sad little man, but you can become happy again. pick up the brush damn it!
This series is one of the best ever offered on public television. I really would have loved to see Bob Ross do a guest spot on Mister Roger's Neighborhood.
+truthnomatter If Bob Ross, Mr. Rogers, Julia Childs, and Carl Sagan had ever been in the same room then it would have ushered in a new age of peace.
+Jazz Purr *ramen noodles
+PrehistoricScience FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER BOILED FOR OUR SINS!
+Ruben Braddock Ja! Lol
That really would have been *awesome.*
Just amazing. I'm speechless. God was having a great day when he created Bob Ross.
“Nothing worse than having a wet floor cause water ran out your painting” - Bob Ross, classic bar drop 🙌🏼😂
Bob's son's a black belt?! And Bob was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force... This family is extreme, the most peaceful painters that could kill you in an instant...
What talent bob had now I have the same talent
Thank God for Bob Ross. Rest in peace, hero.
Just watching the end of this and how heartfelt he is..
That closing speech gave me the feeling like he wasn't sure if the show would continue after the second seson. Well, it turned out that he brought us many, many more years of the joy of painting.
Such a gentle soul
I don't get how people can hate on these videos, he was the most amazing genuine human being.
I have never seen a negative comment on a Bob Ross video…ever.
That end bit is what we all lack in today’s world. Appreciation and value for the next person. Bob is still touching hearts ♥️
Man if only Steve Ross would revive the joy of painting series...the views, the exposure, the popularity of it...come on Steve whip out the old easel polish that pallet knife and continue the legacy for the joy of painting!
I haven't seen any of his guest episodes yet, but I bet he just doesn't have the same presence as Bob. Certainly he didn't when he was reading the questions in the last season.
Bob always does brag about Steve’s mountains in the later seasons.
Aug 2020, Steve and Dana Jester did a workshop in Sterling, CO! 👍🏼😁
He is painting now. He just completed a workshop in Tennessee last week
This guy is an American Hero. In Bob we trust.
+ege1993 Thank you for watching. Please subscribe and share bit.ly/BobRossSubscribe
I enjoy listening to the lil knife scrape across the painting
I am such a huge fan of Bob Ross, always have been. He was such a kind and warm person. One of my favorite things he says on a lot of episodes is "All you need is a dream in your heart"...so simple but hits home with me. Can't help but love the guy.
I Love YOU Bob Ross!!!! Thank u for all the teachings and everything you did. Sure wish you were alive today!!! I apprecite and LOVE you!! You've helped me to further advance in my Arts and your soft spoken voice soothes me and you give me joy!!
those 12 people who disliked the video probably fell asleep and 'accidently' pressed the dislike button
Happy little mistakes
Or they thought it meant 'dis-i-like'
I fall asleep watching bob ross video thats why I watch because I can never fall asleep
+Maxwell Maglinte Ayee reppin Aleks
They can easily undo the 👎 and switch it to a 👍! not that hard to do
That ending brought a tear to my eye. A truly humble and thoughtful guy, with such appreciation and gratitude for everyone. I'm sad I never got to view these programs while he was still alive. But he left a great legacy in these shows, and still brings pleasure to us even from beyond the grave. I hope somewhere up there in those happy little clouds, Bob is looking down on us, still wishing us a super day and knowing we still appreciate and miss him.
If there is a heaven Bob is surely there. If he isn’t, such a place doesn’t exist.
They should remove the 'dislike' button from Bob Ross videos because it's impossible to dislike these.
The ending of this shows just how much bob appreciated not just the fans but the poeple he worked with to make this possible in the first place what a genuine heart and soul we didnt deserve bob ross but he sure made us feel like we did
I'm so glad you guys have an official Bob Ross RUclips channel now. I used to watch these shows when I was a kid and I loved them. I still love them now and now I can watch them here! I could never find them on the Internet. Thank you for making my life that much better!!!
I never really got to watch these as I was born only 4 after he died, and I never really got to appreciate this guy...but he's amazing at what he does and I love how he openly out of the blue at the end thanked everyone who helped him in his endeavour to produce high quality television. And he's a damn amazing artist I mean that painting is amazing, miss yah Ross.
4 years, kinda missed that

I’m sure Bob could have never imagined that years into the future, long after his time here on this Earth had passed, millions of people would be using futuristic technologies to continue to enjoy his lessons and introduce them to whole new generations of aspiring painters and people who need to fall asleep.
This is the biggest stress-reliever and I don't know why, but I love it; thank you Bob Ross
I love how bob always had like 6 buttons undone on his shirt. Dude was low key stunnin
Not going to lie, I teared up a bit at the end. Thank you, for letting me catch at least one episode during my childhood.
I loved this show when I was a kid!!!
I woke up my friend at 2:00 am screaming "THE CLOUDS HE'S PAINTING THE CLOUDS!"
I had a night where I had to sleep outside with no shelter and a second degree burn and no bug spray. I wish I knew about Bob Ross at that time he would have helped me get more than an hour of sleep. That night was awful, so I'll keep the details to myself. My point is, thanks Bob for giving us the joy of painting.
Bob was in the military and was given a position where he had to be quite stern with people, often having to raise his voice. When he finished that chapter of his life, he vowed never to raise his voice again and to teach through kindness instead of the aggression he was forced to use in the military. His soul is so kind and genuine. I'm so thankful we get to learn from him. Wether it's a happy tree or simply how to be soft and quiet and still. I feel his sweet kindness in each episode and this ending message was a reminder that he truly did love us all and appreciated ever opportunity. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you Bob. We love you, Always.
My dad was a pretty awful man, volatile, demeaning, abusive, arrogant, and self centered, but The Joy of Painting was one show that could tame him.... 30 minutes at a time. Old dad could actually be a pleasure to be around at those times..... the show humbled him, I suppose, because he was not artistically inclined, and Ross' voice sent him into a trance.
+Joel Lewis Thank you for sharing your won personal experience it means a lot. Please subscribe and share bit.ly/BobRossSubscribe
+Bob Ross
Because Mr Ross passed some time ago, I was wondering who it is that is using his name to upload these episodes and answer these posts... his family I hope.
+Bob Ross hi
+Joel Lewis That's the power of Bob Ross man.
isectoid
I know - does the same to me.... by the way.. I never got an answer to my question above: Why is Someone using Bob Ross' name when he's been dead for some time?
REST IN PEACE. Bob Ross A great painter and more than that a great human being.
Bob Ross was amazing he's just so relaxed
+M Whitaker Well stated and thank you for watching. Please subscribe and share bit.ly/BobRossSubscribe
I wonder how it would come out if Bob ever painted a volcano scene. That would have been interesting.
'An angry little volcano'
+JordPlaysGames your comment killed me 😂😂😂
"We hope we've taught you something..." Yes, Bob. Peace. Thank you.
I was born and raised only about 20 minutes north of Muncie, Indiana. Now interestingly enough I live only about an hour away from Falls Church Virginia where the show was first produced!
He’s the most loved person.
when I die I want to meet the all powerful Bob Ross
An umble gentleman. RIP Bob Ross.
I think what makes Bob's paintings so amazing, to me at least, is how each one feels likes it's filled with so much life. They really do feel like real, living worlds.
I love watching his painting shows.
His voice is so relaxing it’s making me fall asleep. What a great genuine man
Amazing how he didn't change his mountains much in the later years. They were always so beautiful
I am so happy for twitch introducing me to Bob ross. he is so nice to sleep to.

i don't think I've ever seen Bob Ross sign his name in the water. It's always on land.

Bob Ross was and still is a National Treasure. Thank you Bob, and God bless my friend. Rest in peace.
Just amazing! Ive lived in England all my life so I've never come across Bob Ross until I got into ASMR about two years ago… And he was mentioned as a common ASMR trigger for many people… But I didn't get round to watching the videos.
My husband aged only 61, died a month ago and I came across these videos....and they are so tranquil and and calming, helping me to rest and heal after a difficult time. I hope somehow Bob Ross is carrying on painting in the afterlife and can know what a contribution of joy and peace he left for the world… What a legacy.
BOB DONT LET THEM STOP YOU FROM SAYING "
BEAT THE DEVIL OUT OF IT"

I AM 1 YEAR OLD AND I MISS HIM.
The season I missed him beating the devil out of the brushes after he hypnotized the clouds with it.
That was amazing and cool and cute
