he always make jokes about the modern art, is just brilliant and savage, once surfing in the web i found a video of him in a chinesse search page, it beggined with a challenge in english that say: Bob Ross drinking challenge, rules:
1. drink everytime he says a little
2. drink everytime he says happy
3. drink after a joke of modern art
4. drink after he uses titanium withe
5. drink everytime he dries his brush
and some rules that i don't remember, dude that game will make you fell in an alcoholic coma

I don't know for sure, but I think Bob Ross was more a fan of "the happy little trees" than of the alcohol.

I was watching this when my mother came by. She didn't move for a half-hour as we watched Bob paint this beautiful seascape together. ^_^

Bob was one of the greatest painters to ever live and did all his paintings in 25 minutes
He was a frickin genius and I never am unsatisfied and bored by comparing the most simplistic things he did in the first 5 minutes of the episode and going immediately to the last 2 minutes and comparing and it's like... dude... the guy is an absolute MAGICIAN. The dichotomy of simplicity mixed with utter beauty _is_ the genius.

If you get a hair, because it is a natural bristle brush, they do have a tendency to shed a little. Especially during mating season. Amazing words from an amazing man. Good ol' Bob

You know you're doing just fine whenever you practice, notice and work with something new and in the next video you watch, Bob confirms that same conclusion! Man did he learn me how to paint! This painting is almost exactly like the one I painted for my mom's 60th birthday and oh boy, she loved it.

Landscapes like those of Bob transport my mind to a different world and give me a sense of peace.
According to sergeant Hartman, private Snowball was so ugly he could be a modern art masterpiece. Being one in the military himself, I’m sure Bob Ross knew the difference. lol

I looked for a Bob Ross painting and his specific one pulled up for $250,000. A high price for a reason but the love he showed us and lesson he taught us are priceless
Fun fact: this was Bob's highest selling painting, going for $95,000, coming in ahead of Northern Lights which went for 88k

Debra Dominguez you can, his technique was created to be more simplified, that way anyone can paint like he does...I promise you that if you were to follow his lead and paint how he is instructing, you would have paintings very simular to his.

The sad part is that people will buy it just because it's by Bob, not necessarily because they just like how it looks and makes them feel. That's what art SHOULD be about.
GlitzyPandora38 I don’t think that’s sad at all. If Bob has been a big influence on their art or their lives, it makes sense that someone would spend money on something by him.
Chaces of it being the actuall painting is pretty low as it is really hard to come across a real Bob Ross painting nowadays especially on eBay.

It looks like the authentic painting. Same little weird things like the blue line through the dunes, stroke marks etc. If it’s a counterfeit it’s an amazing one.
I just watched this at 2x speed and it was still incredibly soothing. Of course, it was fast, and now I wonder if that's how he feels with the time restraint and all.
