Thanks Nick. Yea that was pretty cool for the engineer to stop his train where he did, and then gets out and talks for a bit. Thanks for watching my friend.
👍Thumbs up for the vid and a 🍺🍺couple cold beers for the crew for posing that KCS unit so nicely for you to get a good shot and not block your view of the other train.
Thanks John. No doubt! I knew there was going to be a meet, then the westbound comes first on the main track and I figured it would block my view. Really nice of the engineer to stop where he did. Thanks for watching my friend.
@@PacificNWRailfan I could make out some of the conversation you had with the conductor I'm guessing and he said they stopped short not to block your view. Maybe he is a Railfan at heart to.
@@johnwinter8273 That was the engineer and yes, he did say he stopped short so he wouldn't block my view of the eastbound train. I thought that was pretty decent of him.
ChainsawN&W1218, nice to see KCS and CSX,heard the crew talking to You,caught 10 trains a few days ago in Roanoke and Christiansburg VA,3 manifest time freights with a mid helper DPU, monster 211 car coal train with mid helper DPUS on NS Tidewater District at Whitethorn down beside the New River, take care.
Hi Dave. It was pretty cool to see KCS in Montana. The engineer parked that train in a perfect spot for you to see and film all of the action. Thanks for bringing us armchair railfans along. Sure enjoyed it. Thanks 👍
Hey Lou, Yes it was, we don't see them very often. It was very nice of hat engineer. I knew there was going to be a meet, then I saw the train on the main and thought that my shot of the east bound would be blocked. It was pretty cool of him to stop short like he did so he wouldn't block my shot. Thanks for watching Lou.
Thanks Freight Train Drifter. The engineer came out to talk, said he stopped there so he wouldn't block my view of the east bound train. Thanks for watching my friend.
Awesome!! I Also saw a KCS Leading here in Minnesota on a CP train. I see them so rarely, seeing it lead was insane! Love the video, its so cool to see trains pass each other. I near 4 different sidings but I haven't been fortunate enough to see any trains pass each other at any of the locations on video (not enough traffic, I suppose.)
Another spectacular shot, and it's nice to see a KCS loco before the proposed merger with CP is finalized, and CSX is in the house also. Awesome and two thumbs up!👍👍
Yea, it was cool to see as a leader. Even cooler when the engineer stopped right next to me and got out and we talked for a bit. Thanks for watching my friend.
