Thanks for producing this video. I was the creator of these cars and it’s great to see you’re still talking about them. It was the most fun of any of my businesses. I found one a couple years ago and am restoring it.
I actually bought that copy of Car & Driver here in the UK back in the 70s and I remember it well. Thanks for reminding me of this fascinating piece of history.
"Custom Cloud" ?? More like "Storm Cloud"...Definitely a "Dark Cloud" hanging over this one...They Couldn't even put a matching set of tires on it?? Whitewalls on the front, blackwalls on the rear??? Waste of a perfectly good '75 Monte Carlo... all 145hp of it.....
I found number three car for sale for $5,000 needs work, I'd like to put a real rolls Grill on there. And a set of real Rolls-Royce hubcaps. Which can be done, using a set of Ford steel wheels., which will bolt up. And a set of shadows two tail lights but the upper lenses should be red because how do you make the yellow blinker Blink by itself with an American wiring harness?

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment - what a fascinating project! And good luck with your restoration!

"It's challenging." Wonderful euphemism.
My dream car with a Silver Cloud.
This explains that song by The Wallflowers, "I think I'm gonna buy myself a Rolls, Maybe a Chevrolet"
It's still dope n different. Put some 26s rims on it. Remember it was the pimp days of the 70s.
I think there were more than twenty.
