Nice look, with the tank finish its more 'classic BSA' than Triumph, but who cares these days, its way better than stock, and thats cool... well done guys, nice result.
Beautiful bike! You guys did an amazing job as always. That seat is so much cooler than the stock seat. Any chance you guys will be making anymore of them? By the way, that is my dream Bonneville!
The tank takes a page from BSA at least from 1969-70, which is excellent as I had a '69 Lightning, I love the starting system with the fuel/carburation but I'd love to see a kick start on her. Jason ,overall, a kick ass job!
I started off on 500 speed twin, then had earlier Bonnevilles , now I have the 900 Scrambler. I like what you have done with this bike ,simple and effected, , great job, I think Triumph should be speaking to you, there classic range needs a lift,
nice bike,,i had one as a kid in the UK in the 70s,,not bad bike but as you said not the most confortable for long runs,,then I sold it to get a triumph stag,,,lol
The modern Bonneville tank on so many customs looks like a big lump of a thing and doesn't flow with the rest of the bike. I like that DCC has gone some way to rectify this.
No way ,I chose the bonny over a fat boy because I am nearly 6 feet and chose the bonny [04 carb model , last of the real motorcycles!!] put the thruxton gel seat on and its perfect, thruxton seat feels an inch higher than standard. Bonny in t shirt and half face helmet is the coolest combo and get loads of looks , love it!!
I know this episode is as old as God,but I'm just seeing it. I'm in Tampa and I have the same bike. Well, the same year. I have a set of free breathing out bound slashed slip-ons in mine. And they're loud too. For the most part its stock. Cept for an air box removal to add pods. I have the stock dials, but did add a fly screen and a headlight visor. For that classic but sport look. It's funny but this t100 had the same rear fender that the Thruxton of this year sported. Not the droopy elongated one I've seen on others. Maybe it's a factory option, not sure. I did keep the, " blinkers", ha. Though I'd like to put some similar but smaller leds. I also bought factory barend mirrors, which really improve the visual and look better. I checked into the BC pipes, but didn't have that kinda cash. So for a hundred, I got these. I do like that seat y'all placed. I have seen many seats I like, but money is a factor . Pretty much always it seems. That tank is beautiful alright. Kinda a waste, chroming the whole thing then having to prep the top to accept paint. But I know chroming is a dip process, and they'd have charged you for the whole thing anyway i guess. Anyway it looks great. Y'all did a good job. Sounds and runs great. Take care 👍
Hey guys, that was a really good quality and informative video - thanks a lot for uploading it! Love the handlebars and exhausts especially. I have a 2005 T100 "Creamsickle" and am slowly modding it subtly. Are those BC Sleepers chromium or stainless steel? I also agree about not needing blinkers and God does the stock seat hurt after 80 miles!!!!! Great Job fellas - love your work!
Well Done ! But you didn't mention the rear fender ! Looks chromed. Is it aftermarket or did you get it wrapped ? My 69 T120R and those in Canada had what I remember to be a brushed aluminum or chrome steel fenders. Are similar available ? ] Cheers and Thanks for this build. Also ..No apologies required for a carburetored bike
NICE. but, get ready to redesign it with blinkers because most states REQUIRE blinkers on anything produced after about 1972 or so. How about getting with MegaCycle and having them do a special high lift camshaft for it, and hide those unsightly black wires and plugs. I know damn well you can find a better looking tail light too. Build it like you really want to see it. ;)
eatpho1 We're not sure but you should be able to check by visiting their website: www.dimecitycycles.com/If you don't see them there, give them a call. They are very nice and helpful people.
Like a few people have mentioned, it's more reminiscent of an old BSA rather than a triumph. Besides, reminiscing about past exploits is one thing, but plain old copying the past leads to stagnation. I think triumph have hit the nail on the head with their modern twins (and thousands other do to, judging by sales figures), they're classically designed with modern ergonomics and best of all, they're blank canvases waiting to be customised.
Yeah, I've seen Marlons review and enjoyed it a lot. Despite his criticisms I bought a scrambler and love it, and guess what he's still got his Hinckley Bonnie and done a fantastic job of customising it. I know this cos I've seen and read about it on his triumphrat forum posts. The modern bonnies are exactly what they need to be, a nod to the old bikes without trying to recreate the past. If you want a classic Bonnie, buy one. Why can't I talk about sales figure? At the end of the day if they weren't popular people wouldn't buy them. Shallow hipsters looking to look cool on a Brit twins are just as likely to buy a classic Bonnevilles, so the mass appeal argument doesn't wash with me.
Sure, you can talk about sales figures, I'm just not interested, I see no argument. It's like saying McDonalds serves good food because it sells, or Bieber is a musical genius because he sells. See my point? Being into true classic Brits has nothing to do with trying to look cool, it's just digging the old glory I guess. And throwing words like shallow hipsters around is a bit judgemental, has a frustrated ring to it and just might be perceived as a projection.

Love the bike, but you didn't mention the headlamp and fenders. I recently picked up a '06 Scrambler, will the head light bucket and fenders go on?
Got a lot of vibration in the handle bars over 60 MPH. Any ideas? Did you use a smaller sprocket on the rear?
Nice 👍🏼
Well Done !

can you do wheelies on these things?
want.
Way to go... Nice bike. The bars are tits.....
Is that guy danish? On his arm it says ''Hold Fast''... On danish that means ''Hold On'' :-)
You kinda need the kink there to have a centre stand fitted sadly.....
nice, im 6 feet thinking of trading my fatboy in for a Bonny, just wondering if i'am too tall.
lol ... and still no chain guard 🤣
Funny, a bunch of Americans remembering what a Triumoh should look like while Triumph itself seems to have forgotten,,,,,

PS. I dig the Scrambler, nice choice :)
how much ?

You should have taken the kink out of the Headers,
need better lighting.
Don't care for for chrome on anything but exhaust headers and mufflers. The bike looks like crap with all that chrome on it.
hartri55 agreed
