The show premiered in fall ‘89, so it had 2 seasons with Schneider, the other season being early ‘90; the 3rd season had Morris being late '90 to early-mid '91; also adding a number of episodes made.
This game seems to be forgotten as far as most Nickelodeon game shows go. I watched it quite a bit back in the day, though. I remember in the first episode I watched the first fire drill was interplanetary spit wads.
Sadly it is forgotten, probably because of it’s rather simple no-frills kind of format. It lacks the slime, the mass, the action that other Nickelodeon game shows have standardized themselves by; the simple quiz format probably does place it on the lower end unfortunately.
24:50 If it aired on CBS: Bern Bennett: It's the only game show in town that asks, do you have it, Nickelodeon GUTS, weekdays beginning at 1:00/12:00 central and mountain. Tonight, Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto return to their roles as Kirk and Spock in the network television premiere of Star Trek: Beyond, on the CBS Tuesday Night Movies.
At first, I was complaining to myself because even though Jeff only needed History & 9th Grade, that square was taken, yet he was going all over the board choosing random categories. But he had PE 9th Grade so his scoreboard was incorrect, which I'm sure led to his confusion.
Joe Piasek: It’s the only game show in town that asks, do you have it, Nickelodeon GUTS, Weekdays beginning Monday at 1:00/12:00 central right here on Nick. Now Stay Tuned for More Make the Grade Next on Nick.
Did they never notice that Jeff had that game won a long time before? He kept going and they didn’t have ninth grade lit up even though he had two red squares under it.
I am so fighting for a revival of this all you need it some tweaking and bam! instead of switching desks for the fire drill you win points 3rd place 1 point 2 points 2nd place 1rst points when 3 points. This can work I have the format all set just got to share it with Nickelodeon.
Gaby playing the long game. "I'm not going to ring in until the VERY last question!" Also, I like that Lou seemed to be suffering a stroke there at the end of the show. "In what state was Parenthood set? and the answer is six" These episodes are pure gold cringe.
The sky blue background seems to have been inspired by the background from the celebrity word game show "You Don't Say!". The first two Seasons were taped in New York City; Season three was taped in Orlando, Florida.
If I were Jeff I would’ve taken right back from gabby as she never earned a single thing. She just kept taking from what the guys accumulated. Just like a woman. 🤣
True that. And just think, this was 30 years ago when guys were actually allowed to be on a show like this. In this day and age, if they ever let one on, they never be allowed to win because of me too.

I remember watching this on Nickelodeon GaS in 2000
I Make the Grade.

Man, 32 years ago
Player at the blue desk looks like he could play a kid version of the host.
I saw this show.
Make the grade.
I love that theme song 24:21.

I am watching this right now and am saying the exact same thing -- his board was messed up.
This was like a kids jeopardy lol 2021
Jeopardy Meets battleship meets trivial pursuit ... kinda.

When he hit the last Fire Drill I was worried he would lose his desk after all that work, and technically already winning.
Got any more make the grade?
Unless this is your rather personal copy of this episode taped off TV, the episode was probably Nickelodeon only.
Jeff was angry during the fire drill. He protected his lead.
Fortunately for him he got back his lead, and didn't end up like Megan did in Season 3. Unfortunately for him, he lost the Honor's Round.
And he had a right to be angry, he had that thing one long before the end.
Wonder if he took his frustrations out on his drums when he got home.

He was either super drunk or super nervous
Probably one of the earliest episodes where they were still trying to find their footing.
For the record, Parenthood was set in St. Louis so it's Missouri.
Paramount+, here it comes.
I honestly hope not. This game show was so broken.
@@blindsportslover it's been forgotten, and P+ has gotta have this for memory info of Nick.
I have a way that can work and I fixed it up
So it can work.

I've always wondered. Does this game show take place on a spaceship? I mean like...what is this set up?
The sky blue background seems to have been inspired by the background from the celebrity word game show "You Don't Say!". The first two Seasons were taped in New York City; Season three was taped in Orlando, Florida.
It's the "game show of tomorrow", so it's an attempt at the Jetsons' retrofuture style... I guess. Very abstract.

Lew was awesome!
This is a No Good Honors Round Ever. This is Really Dis Grace!
I know right, luckily on the later episodes, they made it much easier.
what are caracas
I know right? They never gave the answer. Caracas is the capital of Venezuela! You're welcome 😁
This show was OK, but it looked so out of place. I like the old Nickelodeon bumper at the start.
