I'm 62 year's young I've been chasing storms since I can remember . You Mike give the power within all of us and let us see what we are all capable of I thank you as a brother.
Mike Olbinski Really, I didn't know that, I might have to go check out a film festival sometime soon. These videos are great to look at on my phone (Galaxy 9+) but I could only imagine going to a IMAX theater to watch this.
They say there's no adventure left out in the world, there is no discovery.... but some how you managed to adventure and discover the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. Thank you so much for sharing.....
Maybe I'm crazy, but I would pay to see a full length (2 hour) film in the theater by this man. The imagery is breathtaking and intense. The music is the perfect accompaniment to the visual thriller that was produced. I'm in awe.
I watch your films at .5 speed in order to see more details and STILL, I must watch each multiple times as I cannot get enough of the magic! I am overwhelmed by how many reactions and emotions well up in the course of viewing them... THANK YOU (and those who support you) for the incredible dedication in bringing such amazing scenery to us! This artwork is nearly as timeless as the weather itself-
Thank you Jina for letting Mike chase his dream. He's bringing so much enjoyment to us that aren't that brave. May God bless him and keep him and his family safe and well. Thanks again , Craig in Alabama.
Mike your films are fabulous!! I don’t live in tornado country but I still find them so fascinating. I live on an island on Canada’s west coast so no chance of me ever seeing one so I really appreciate the quality of your films. They’re beautifully stunning and fabulous, much like a tornado. Sometimes the rolling clouds look like you’re underwater looking up at the rolling waves. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing them with us!
Gracias Mike por tu grabación NO imaginas lo grato que es para mi recordar gran experiencia vivida en vuelo en ALA DELTA Dic. Ano 2985-1986 por más de 7hrs vuelo en tormenta de verano
That looks like Capulin Volcano at 0:35. You can drive to the top and get a panoramic view of New Mexico. It's a great place for cloud watching with shadows drifting across the landscape.
MERCI pour ce moment de rage gracieuse ! Et merci a ton épouse pour l'intelligence de son soutien et toutes kes responsabilités qu'elle assume pour que tu puisse faire cet excellent travail
Wow, Mike congratulations on this incredible video. We live in New Zealand and work on the ocean every day, and we see some pretty dramatic weather, but NOTHING compared to this. Its my dream to one day see this kind of weather system, of course that will mean a trip to the USA! So thank you, look forward to seeing any future videos.
Sir, for a full 6 minutes you had my complete attention. Those are some of the most beautiful storms I have ever seen. But I leave you with this. "What do you chase, your dreams, or the storm of your dreams?"
Utterly beautiful work, Mike. I THINK I remember you were talking to your viewers (last year), about doing this work. It's fantastic!! Once again I am blown away by your mastery of photography, (and storm chasing too, of course). Epic!
These would be cool addition to denote a mood to scenes in a movie. The music trac you’ve used also adds to the feeling. A wonderful and inspiring channel. Much Thanks. 🙏🏼
The incredible sequences alone are awe inspiring, but, what sets this masterpiece apart from much of the other beautiful storm timelapses out there is really how perfectly the music is matched. If the entire piece wasn't so finely processed (some may not realize - an entire other skillset than just the photography!), it wouldn't have the captivating cinematic experience that it does. 24 people are bitter failed storm chasers or something ;p
Incredible. I love everything about this.. the structures, the colors, the music, the motion. Great editing and great choices, especially the closing shot. Thank you for sharing this!
Nice music with incredible massive beautiful video i ever seen. i really moved your video "The Chase". A nature thing sometimes hit damage us human being who live on the ground of earth. However, nature material itself obtains of such beautiful things. We live in JP small island here. A huge earthquake attacked us several times, even now, but we have to live this awful scare and beautiful this planet of the Earth. Thank you so much, you taught me any lesson about the nature.
Wow....beautiful, powerful, epic music and an absolutely wonderful and awe-inspiring video!! A perfect treat for eyes and ears!! I have subscribed to your channel Mike! Take good care, ~Jackie
Instantly subscribed. God Bless you and all others who have contributed to you becoming "you", dear Mike Olbinski... Thank you for sharing this magnificient compilation and to all helped you in creating and producing this masterpiece, with special applause to Kerry Muzzey... May peace, luck and power be with you on this effortful journey/chase... Best Regards.
Sheer awesome video, Mike Olbinski. On reading what you stated about filming any actual touchdowns, I would add that from around 4:3 until the end of the storm video, there were some near misses, with funnels forming and dissipating. Would that I could have done the same, I would be out there as well, but you have!
This is probably my favorite video yet. I am captivated by the music choice for this video. It really captured the essence of the video. Your videos are a work of art, well done!

Mike, if you ever decide to roll up allllll of your videos to be shown in theaters I'd go pay to see them. This is art.
Wish I could do that! Not sure how to produce something that long, but would be fun! They've shown at film festivals though!
Mike Olbinski Really, I didn't know that, I might have to go check out a film festival sometime soon. These videos are great to look at on my phone (Galaxy 9+) but I could only imagine going to a IMAX theater to watch this.
Completely agreed.
ME, TOO!!!!! Can you imagine it in IMAX???? 😲😲😲❤❤❤
Wholeheartedly agreed.

+syck asylums You are welcome and thank you for the kind words!
The more beautiful something is the more speachless it leaves me.
How can you dislike this short film, I really don't understand, how can you hate the mother nature. Just amazing really great work!

I was on that May 26 storm and saw several funnels and a tornado that day. I recognized it immediately. Thanks for this!
Thank you Jina for letting Mike chase his dream. He's bringing so much enjoyment to us that aren't that brave. May God bless him and keep him and his family safe and well. Thanks again , Craig in Alabama.

Thanks Kari, she's the bomb!
