Garry Bailey I tried this with my door handle I popped it off but it's still connected to some wire but can't find the location to take it off do you any idea man to this solution?
You are hands down the best educator on You Tube in any subject. I regret that there’s a pandemic happening because I would fly up to take your hands on classes
Glad you put this video up. I agree with the other commenters, my is concern was prepping the car for a wrap, I am afraid of breaking something. I have an older car I am considering for a wrap as a first project but it is a 1995 so the trim and bumpers aren't as easy as in this video. I sure appreciate you, wrap on !!
Just out of curiosity, why do you remove the rubber from the front window/ door jam but not the back window? Are there cars that you don’t remove the front ones? Is there a rule of thumb to tell when you should or shouldn’t remove something?
I have a two inch wide or more moulding trim down the middle of all four doors on my Equinox. The ride is black and I am wrapping it gloss white. So I might just leave that trim black and not wrap it or even remove it......maybe. I don't want to take the whole inside of the door apart to get that moulding off.
I had to replace door handle on Q50 and I'm like.. Nice. Pop of tab unscrew one screw, tumbler pops out easy, then I go to take handle off(almost ripped it out) fkn thing is electrical. The sensor light to unlock. Had to take whole fkn door panel off. I'm like WTF!!!! Then I remembered you did a free wrap on one. So you know exactly what I'm saying and ppl want to know why wraps cost some money. You can spend all fkn day disassembling if you have no experience on certain makes and models. And yes, your fingers will be hurting doing all that work. I don't care how often you do it. We see all these vids of you doing different panels in 30mins or less and think this is too easy, and don't see all the prep. It's all fkn labor. It usually always is with everything.
No hate on this video but seems that you couldnt have chose an easier vehicle to take apart. we wrap commercial vehicles on a daily basis and some are a right nightmare. Recently wrapped two little fiat 500's and everything was a pain in the arse to remove. Its usually frowned upon in the wrap industry to remove parts unless you have a mechanic working for you but i suppose as long as your confident there is no reason not to have a go. Forums and google always help!
massive thanks for doing this video it's my main worry about wrapping cars, paranoid of breaking trims and stuff.
top man 👍
Garry Bailey I second this

you are the men!
does everything have to be removed or is there some that's optional ?
Link to the red plastic tool set you were using? They look useful.
Great video
Grateful bigtime! I’ll be stressed out getting the bumper back on
I can't believe this video was made 6 years ago, and so many people can use the info in it.
I have a genesis coupe but it has
keyless entry, do you know how to access the connection to release the keyless entry on a genesis coupe door handle?
Thanks 🙏🏾
Does the same door handle disassembly apply to the keyless entry Genesis?
Do you have to remove the bumper when wrapping cars? I've seen other videos where you've wrapped the car with the bumper on.
Yeah, finally something about removing things. Does the rear window trim need to come off? How does it come off?
@ckwraps do you remove the car badges?

Wow, now I know what to do when I'm mad at someone 😂🤣🤣

at 5:20 you can see a small roll of tape on the black part of mirror that connects to car. is that there for a reason? i ripped it off
I removed all my panels to remove the handle only yo find out its right there lol
No way I’m removing all these things, except the door handles and mirrors. By the time I put them back on there will probably be parts left over lol😂.
This was the hardest thing to google. "...remove bumper body molding stuff?"

would that wrap stay on an airplane?

SuPrAmAd101 I’m looking to start my own thing and am not a mechanic, do I have to do all this or can I still do a quality job without dismantling?
