I’m in New Jersey and Jonathan Nethercutt just threw me a beautiful flick right into my hands from where he was sitting.

That play from 0:00-10:09 is especially filthy!

The empire gives Jack Williams the disk for the buzzer beater, but Jack Williams gave Jonathan Nethercutt for the buzzer beater

3:52 is suuuuuper impressive. 70 yards with no stepping for momentum. Just twisting from the torso. Absolutely insane power!
His mechanics are weird too (flick). Completely bent at the elbow. Just twisting around it.
    - 0:12 (rear) and 0:15 (side view)
    - 0:27 and 0:50 (diff angles)
    - 2:46
    - 4:42
    - 4:59
    - 5:33
    - 7:02
    - 7:37 (Also notice how this man looks like a pirate when he throws. Aaaaarggh matey.)
    - 8:58
    Backhands
    8:23,
    9:07, that 90 yard backhand 😵

Wanna talk more about the "weird mechanics" ?
Nutt has been my "copy this guy" standard for flick hucks for quite a while now, so interested what you are seeing :)

@@pugsnhogz I think what I was thinking was how much he can twist around the elbow with his wrist and the frisbee behind it. Nothing super weird. I think I just found it surprising how much bend he can get there. It's almost unnatural. But that's exactly what you want in a flick to generate power. I just spoke with a coach (who's a pro player) and he mentioned I need more of this in my throws. Turns out I just need to copy Nutt to a T.
A good angle of that excessive bend is that 4:43 put. If you go frame by frame it's around 4:45. Try doing that static. Like without the full throwing motion. You just can't get that angle. You need movement to force it into that position.

Great observation, thanks for elaborating! Yeah that elbow torque is no joke lol
My co- captain, an old school vet, calls it "putting some Zs on it"
I think there's enough zzzzs there to sedate a silverback

Theyve done him dirty by only showing 3 seconds of audl's most dirty throw ever @ 10:05 till 10:08

his foot comes up almost every flick... is it technically a travel that just never gets called or is it clean?

I think he picks it up after he throws, so it's clean
