I actually bought two sweaters (bc it was buttery soft) of this very same type of yarn last year from Primark and man oh man, the worming is just awful. Can't wear them anymore. I wear them in the house winter months. Apparently there's no helping it when it comes to this yarn. Perhaps best to make a beanie with it... Something that doesn't need washing often 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi! I really doubt. Unless the sequins are evenly spaced where you can manipulate where the machine catches the yard, I'd be concerned that the sequins would catch in the machine or break a needle.

Hello, I have this machine, but it does not knit with velvet yarn. skipping stitches. Where do you think I'm doing wrong?

It could be the yarn itself. Some velvet yarns are thicker than others and the stitches are too puffy to catch in the needles so you'll end up with dropped stitches. Make sure the yarn you're using is on the thinner side at its core. I've also read somewhere that prewashing can help.

I cant even get my Sentro to use Simply Soft.

Which size did you try to use it in? Though that's pretty odd for that yarn to not work in the sentro, some machines are more sensitive than others.
