Dropped out of high school at a young age... Became a dad... Went back and did a college course and got my high school diploma. Will say I'm not great with math but if I can get my high school diploma I'm pretty sure I can pass the asvab. Just mental I think

I took the test in March of this year and scored a 38. It really discouraged me, but after watching your video I am so motivated to go back and score higher. I am going to pick up the book from the library tomorrow. Thank you for this!!!

A lot of recruiters use the PICAT now, which is an online version of the ASVAB that military applicants can take at home. The recruiter gives the applicant a code, and then you just enter the code online at a certain website, and you can take the ASVAB on your own computer at home. There's no time limit, except that you have to finish the ASVAB within 24 hours. Then if you are satisfied with your score, you just go to MEPS, and then instead of taking the full ASVAB there, you're given a few problems from the test that you took at home, to verify that you were the person who took the ASVAB at home. This new ASVAB is great because people can take their time with the test, instead of rushing through it.

6 Angels studio Yeah, the Picat is almost the exact same as the asvab, except that there's no time limit and you take it at home. If you're not happy with your score then your recruiter will take you to meps to take the actual asvab instead.
Anthony Nguyen much easier with no time them confirmation test is just retaking the picat correct? I'm taking mine in his office
6 Angels studio The asvab and picat have the same type of questions, but the picat is just a little easier because there's no time limit. If you like your score on the Picat, then you take a confirmation test that's basically a mini version of the picat. It'll just have a few problems on it from the Actual picat that you took.

I made 45 and all did was study arithmetic Reasoning and math knowledge I did it all on your RUclips and download 2 app just study and have confidence

I went from a 28 to a 25 I went back and retested I literally had 60 questions on the arithmetic portion alone but an hour to complete the section but it was still some complicated stuff mathematics is a cakewalk compared to arithmetic Reasoning

I'm studying the Asvab and math, engineering and mechanical is definitely what I need to study more on. Hopefully I do not need to score to high since I'm going for M.P.

The Navy is tough to get into. Good luck with the test and I know you will pass it in April. What Mos are you going for? I plan on joining the Army Reserves in October once I'm in better shape and feel confident about pass the Aqft and Asvab.

What books are you using to study? I got Asvab for dummies and Kaplan ASVAB Premier 2017. The book is like 600 plus pages.

Become a cook if you like to cook. Otherwise, pick other jobs to further your career. Try to get an asvab score of 50 and above.

How high do you need to score to get a 105 GT? (going to try and get a option 40 contract) I have street smarts and eh on book smarts I took a practice asvab online last year and got a 50

depends on your line scores. ASVAB gives you a narrative overall score. You should discuss this with a recruiter.

If i have a New Jersey State Diploma and joining the Navy does my minimum score have to be 35 or 50?

The navy recruiter I talked to today about the asvab told me that a 35 qualifies you, over a 50, you can get in for sure but you’d wanna get over a 50 so you have a variety of job choices to choose from.

Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else needs to find out about asvab classes try Debuncar Military Exam Aid (just google it ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my co-worker got cool success with it.

I cheated on my asvab. word of advice is dont cheat. it will give u a higher score than u deserve. then they will place u in a job u cant do. lmao. long story short I failed nuke school and went undesignated in the navy

Christopher Sixtos oh good to know that's why I want to take it again I'm completely positive I can do better in all of those sections. I think my biggest problem other than not studying at all was that no one in the testing room (I took it at my school) knew how to stfu in a testing environment. Including the testing proctor and all of the recruiters who were present.
