The life of an idol in Japan is not easy by any means, I remember watching AKB 48's show and they suffered and worked hard to entertain the fans.

AKB48 is where all the idols in Japan wish they were. God level. Being part of 48G puts you above 95% of all the other idol groups in the country, 20th gen auditions are going on as we speak! Lol I'm going to Yurina's send off party tomorrow at Don Quixote.
This was the main reason everytime when I went to Japan. Such a great experience for back stage, especially the PA room. I always wonder how it looks like inside every small live house. Thank you for the exposed!

I find is so impressive how these vocalists can do what they do on stage and still have the talent and ability to sing so well. Incredible breathing techniques, she probably gets some good cardio in too in between performances. For a while I thought a lot of asian (amercians are guilty of this too) singers, groups lip synced most of the time but it was obvious this was all coming from her live which blew me away how talented she is. I didn't hear any backtracking either

Why are the men wearing masks during the concert? Absolute non-sense!😡
I'm not sure either... Japan was one of the last countries to loosen COVID restrictions. I BELIEVE in 2023 (correct me if I am wrong) is when they finally lifted the mask mandate (at least in most public places, mostly outside). Maybe in smaller venues like this, imagine places like hospitals, perhaps maybe in schools too where you might still have to wear them. I think it depends. If you watch most of the videos on Japan Explorer's channel in the last year, most people are not wearing masks anymore on the streets.
You will always see a few here and there that still wear them, but to be fair, Japan is one of the few countries (because of how considerate and polite they are) where they have always wore masks if they are sick with a cold or a flu. So if you do see masks here and there, keep in mind, that is most likely people who have a cold or flu.

For those who don't know Otaku Mixes, it's a chant/call for the otaku (fan/nerd) to support and energize the idol, complete participation is good, you don't just spectate, it'a all fun.
