      shouldnt matter as long as the surface is not sanded you will be able to peel it like then when enough coats are applied.

      @autodrivennam 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@DirtyMikeHonchoNo amount of polishing will make paint as smooth as an electro-atomised chrome surface, very respectfully. (Means that not even water sticks to chrome as well as it does to clean glass)👌🏼

      @@autodrivennam You must not know shit lol. 99% of chrome rims are plated. Not actually chrome. Just like "chrome" bumpers the chrome is cheap Chinese shit and it will crack and peel easily. It's not real chrome. Real chrome is so hazardous it's far to expensive for any company to actually use. It's the same way metal that is polished to a mirror finish cannot be made in the USA #10 mirror. The chemicals required are so dangerous they are banned from use in the USA and need to be sent out to other countries to do then sent back

    Been using since 2014. Its great just add lots of coats so when you remove it, it will be strong enough to tear all at once. Also you can add coats months or years after you put the first coat on to add more layers. Just clean the current dipped wheels.

      the more you put it through, for example: dirt, heat, cold, moisture, mud, etc. the more likely it will be harder to remove. don’t layer it too thin or it will act like paint, don’t layer it too thick or it will get gummed up and stuck on. it’s really hard to use plasti dip correctly so my advice is just to do actual paint, wheels will look better and it will last longer, and it will be just as easy to remove if you have a can of spray paint-stripper
