The updates within battlefront 2015 were definitely a lot more structured than battlefront 2. New heroes maps and gun in every major update. The only update battlefront 2 had that included a new hero and map was Crait, right after the games launch.
They had to be, as it was paid content they had to adhere to a structure and provide, Bf2 was all free content so there wasn't as much as an expectation to release steady content.
How so? Every update we got in battlefront2 was free and was originally going to take like 500+ hours or close to that maybe 100 hours just to unlock 1 heroe. Or sith. Just think for 1 second if battlefront2 was like that unlike how it is today. With anakin, count dooku. I'm lowkey convinced you haven't played battlefront2 no offense. I'm just saying each update in battlefront 2015 and including it's game was rushed. When EA decided to abandon battlefront 2 they dropped a massive free update to every giving them more lightsaber characters and I'm pretty sure that was it. I'm a huge fan of both games and even the classics. Battlefront 2015 only had 2 lightsaber characters and they were both released I'm pretty sure at launch of the game since the game features both Darth vader and luke as a playable character and I remember that back in the day. That means the game was solely focused on blaster characters and it heavily shows. Plus the fact EA never released a full version of battlefront 2 as in having mace windu jango fett. The mandolorian and more is a critical downplay on them and the fact you want to play as those ppl in battlefront 2 today you have to have a pc and download a mod pack to play it is lowkey ridiculous to me. I feel like console players should of had a fully built and not rushed battlefront 1 with a good selection of lightsaber characters and blaster. And then battlefront 2 would of just expanded on the first 1
The memories this brings back man. The outer rim is my personal favourite. Great blasters, the scatter gun, amazing maps and of course the heroes. Even though the other dlcs added more this one is so nostalgic for me. Amazing video bro.
The sullust tutorial mission was the first time I’ve ever played a battlefront game, and I’m so happy you brought up that comparison. The graphics, visuals, map design and objectives made me fall in love with the franchise. Still thanking my friend to this day for inviting me over to his house 6 years ago lol

I had the season pass for this game with all dlcs..but definitely neglected it for several years now and apparently don't have access to the dlcs anymore 😥 how do I get them back? Looked in ps store to no avail

Hutt contracts were great! Fun challenges that make unlocking the weapon fun, along with giving you something to constantly do
