RULES:
The rules are the same as regular Uno, except for these changes. There are 2 sides to the deck, the light “mild” side and the dark “wild” side. Ensure all the cards are facing the same direction before dealing. The game begins with the mild side the players. Start the discard with the top mild card from the deck, if it is an action, ignore it and try again. Load the deck into the card launcher with the mild side facing the yellow part of the card cartridge. When you close the lid the yellow side should be closest to opening. If not, lift up the lid until there is a click as the card cartridge rotates, then close it. Never rotate the cartridge by hand. Turn on the launcher.
Always rotate the launcher so it always faces the player whose turn it is. During play, if you don’t have a matching card, or you don’t want to play, you must press the launcher button one time. If nothing happens, then your turn is over. If cards shoot out, then you must add all of them into your hand and end your turn. Whenever you add cards to your hand, you must make certain that they all face the same direction as the other cards in your hand so that all the players, at all times, are always playing the same side of the cards.

Flip - all players flip their hands to the other side. Flip over the discard pile, then flip over the draw deck by opening the lid until it clicks and closing it.
Hit 2x and hit 5x - The next player in turn order must press the launcher button the indicated number of times, collect any cards that shoot out, then skip their turn
Discard all - discard all the cards in your hand that match the color of the discard all card, placing the discard all card on top.
Wild discard all - This card is a wild card and is the same as a discard all except you can pick any single color you want to discard.
Wild press your luck - This card is a wild card. Discard one card from your hand then press the launcher. If nothing happens, then you can discard again and press the launcher again. Continue this process until you want to stop or the launcher shoots out cards. If you stop, place this card on top. If the launcher shoots out cards, then collect those cards in addition to all the cards you discarded and put them back into you hand, leaving this card in the discard. This card is a wild card.
Skip everyone - skip all the players and play again.
Wild all-out attack - This card is a wild card. The next player from you is the target. Every player presses the launcher button one time and all the cards that shoot out are added to the target’s hand, the target’s turn is not skipped.
When playing for points, hit 2x is worth 10; reverse, skip, flip, discard all, and hit 5x are worth 20; skip everyone 30, wilds 40, wild discard all 50, and wild press your luck and all out attack are worth 60.

This Luck mechanic is really really really similar to another game from the makers of UNO called STUN. The entire premise of it, is that you can draw cards as much as you want but when you hit a stun card, you loose your cards. UNO FLIP ATTACK has this but in reverse and with a fancy button. Anyway I highly recommend Stun it is a lot of fun too I recently played it with friends.

0:32 Feel free to prove me wrong but shouldn’t the cards be facing the opposite color for example the Mild Side of the deck facing towards the Wild Side of the cartridge.
Why I believe this is because the launcher’s Mild/Wild side is most likely based on where the back of the cartridge is facing, not the front.
At 1:12 the card launcher in your example shoots out cards, although it shoots out a lot more cards than usual, and by your example this is on the Mild Side. That would mean that you were playing the launcher on the Wild Side while playing on the Mild Side.
I fixed this problem by having the Mild Side of the deck of cards face the Wild Side of the cartridge.
Sorry for the nitpicking but I was confused by this when I had bought it a week ago, and I figured that was how it was supposed to work. Although I could just be wrong.
The reason I believe this is because on the Wild side it shoots out a lot of cards like advertised on the box, but the mild side shoots out a few cards also how the box advertised. From my experience the Mild Side would at most shoot out 3 cards and the lowest being 1 card. When going to the Wild Side I was getting 4 to 5 cards.
Then again the instructions seem a little unclear on what it’s supposed to be.
That’s what I thought too, it said it on the instructions that the yellow side had to face the back of the cartridge
I think it's actually better the way TSG has it set up. Seeing how the cards shoot out _Wild_ side _up,_ this might be preferable so that other players don't see what cards are being shot out, kind of like how you traditionally draw a card in Uno.

Nice explanation! The onyl question I have with "Wild Press Your Luck" is can you win the game off of that? Do you still have to say Uno when you have the final card in hand?

It wpuld be fun if Uno made Uno Flip No Mercy where one side is regular uno and the other no mercy uno. Only problem they wont play the flip card cos it might end up bad for them.
